The facility is quite old. Reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. English and mandarin is not a problem. Room is clean and provide all amenities you need but nothing close to luxury. It becomes quite crowded when we add a third bed. The offer ski rental inside the hotel which make life for skiers much easier. However, if you...

Our first trip to Japan, we arrived from Perth quite late and very tired. The Hotel staff had everything prepared for our arrival, sat us down and went through the hotel amenities, ski hire, lift passes, etc. It was so easy and hassle free and this continued throughout our stay, this is a hotel you can trust. We did not...

My family and I stayed for four nights at this hotel. Well appointed. Had on site complementary washer/dryer which was a huge help. We stayed at six hotels throughout our holiday in Japan and their buffet ranked in the top three. Free shuttle to all the resorts (excluding Cortina). Good customer service ( the bellhop helped me out of the...

We happened to be shifted to this hotel by our travel agent after a previous booking went awry. This hotel was a welcome relief for a large group. We each had individual beds (singles but that was ideal), en suits, a little lounge area, a small balcony, ski lockers assigned to each room, a fabulous breakfast every morning (seriously try...

The hotel is practical in that it is clean, service is good to excellent, it is very close to the snow, and it provides all facilities. Also the onsen is very good and is a highlight. However, it is tired, it has zero character, zero charm and zero personality, and these ingredients make a difference especially in a winter holiday....

It's billed as the best hotel in Hakuba which may be true but if so only shows how far Japan is behind the rest of the first world when it comes to ski resorts. It's a perfectly nice hotel but more 4-4.5 than 5 star. The concierge staff are friendly but don't have a good natural understanding of the region...

Fantastic location. Easy to get to various places in town. The food in the hotel restaurants were all delicious. The breakfast spread was superb. The staff were most helpful and attentive. Impeccable service! They accommodated each and every request and even went beyond the call of duty to help us. Special thanks to Shimoyama-san who made our stay extra comfortable...

For 10 days of skiing this hotel gives you that extra comfort you need after 8 hours of ripping up the slopes. Whilst pillows and mattresses are too hard, it is the norm in Japan. Well maintained hotel with excellent service. The breakfast buffet was excellent and made you want to stay longer for breakfast than we had time for....

We stayed here in March 2015 The hotel is quality, clean, obviously well managed. The room was nice and definitely the largest room I have had in Japan, the bathroom was also nice and big and clean, our bed was made of two small beds pushed together, definitely not a honeymoon suite. Breakfast was good but doesn't start until 0700,...
