We found the Mominoki Hotel was wonderful. The staff were very attentive, the accomodation was very good, clean and spacious.

A really nice Hotel, great food, Onsen is awsome. The staff are very helpful and lovely. Ski fields are very close by to walk or shuttle stops out the front. There is a little pub next to the hotel with good food and great beer....More
Amazing! A bit pricey but very worth it! The Japanese and western food buffet is to die for! Chicken soup was my favourite oh and the White chocolate fondue. Yummy

I cannot speak highly enough of this Motel. It is not the flashest accommodation I have ever stayed in but it was just full of character, beautiful people, a great Onsen and it fitted is just like a warm ski glove.

Rick ... no idea. The problem was more the fact that you had a couple hundred people fighting over the limited facilities - a problem exaggerated by the broken machine when we were there in January. Better bet is to go to... More
Rick ... no idea. The problem was more the fact that you had a couple hundred people fighting over the limited facilities - a problem exaggerated by the broken machine when we were there in January. Better bet is to go to the coin laundry - located up the road from the train station. More machines, more room -- and like we did, you can anchor your washing around either some dinner or some shopping (supermarket in walking distance + shops like Patagonia). Its a taxi ride to get there and back, but it all works.
