We had a 4 day family holiday and found Mominoki Hotel a great place to stay. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms are quite good for Japan and clean. The proximity to Happo-one is great, a short 6-7 min walk and you are there. Buses out the front can also take you to other mountains. Onsen is fantastic after...

Would highly recommend this place for a snow holiday. The rooms were cleaned and refreshed daily, the water pressure was unbelievable for a good shower after hitting the slopes all day, and all the staff were always willing to help when asked. I have to make special mention to Emma working at the wine bar, she went above and beyond...

What a nice relaxing place to go after a hard day of skiing. Sit by the fire and enjoy a nice glass of wine and some of Japan's finest beer.....a place that anyone should visit. The service is friendly with a mixture of Japanese and English speaking staff .

We booked this hotel following a lot of research and thank all of the people who take the time to write about the hotels and restaurants they stay in through TripAdvisor. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights on our skiing holiday. We booked the slightly larger room, 28sq premier room because of this. This meant we had ample...

I went to the onsen of this hotel and found that first the hygiene of the pool is unacceptable. I found used bandage floating in the water for example. Second, the onsen temperature is too hot. I would suggest the hotel to keep more staff to service the onsen and maintain the quality.

Hotel Mominoki is an awesome hotel! The staff are amazing - they help you with everything including making your dinner reservations! The night shuttle is fun it's like a party bus! Breakfast & the room is good, and it's so close to the slopes! Highly recommend!

Mominoki Hotel in Hakuba has a modern day appeal with a somewhat old world charm. It has everything for modern travellers but still maintains the charm and eloquence of a bygone era. It is positioned well and is in walking distance to everything Nageno has on offer, from a multitude of ski fields to a large range of restaurants, bars...

I only stopped here to use the onsen after snowboarding all day. 1000 yen to use the facilities if you bring your own towels. Outdoor and indoor onsen which is great when it's snowing outside. I kept returning each evening to use the facilities at this hotel.

Hotel staff are courteous, hard working and well trained, shuttle will get you anywhere you need and pick you up after with not too much waiting. Onsen is great, breakfast is good too. Ski storage provided with boot dryer. Next to a good rental place for skis and close to hakuba one. Shuttles to other slopes board right at entrance...
