I had a chance to stay at Panketo for 10 days in February. It was a perfect spot to experience the amazing Hakuba ski area. A beautiful lodge and setting, with a welcoming, laid back atmosphere that reminded me of a bed and breakfast back here in Canada. The lodge hosts were there to shuttle guests to and from the...

Me, Jake Just and Tommy Macca all headed down for a good time and a great ski. Needed a break from the pressures of school and this place provided the goods. Great skiing and the best place to stay. Props to Kye and the Opie family for a good time

We are a family of 4 who stayed at the lodge end of January 2016. Fantastic staff and very homely feel. Ideal place to stay with young children. Great communal lounge and dining with warm open fire. Very close to Happo One lifts and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Close to local bus shuttle stop and rental...

The Hakuba weather was unseasonably warm during our stay, so we never bothered going onto the mountain. With that, I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! Big, friendly lounge with games and movies and a roaring fire. The staff was very friendly and took guests on free transfers to dinner, shopping, etc. Happened to meet one of the...

We stayed here for a weeks snowboarding trip. What an awesome place. Rooms are small and basic but if you're there for the snow you're only in them to sleep! Plus the lovely shared lounge with fireplace makes up for it. Staff were great, went out of their way to help with bookings, etc. Big shout out to Jenna who...

My wife and 2 kids stayed here in Jan 2016 for 9 nights and we had a fantastic time. The lodge itself has a few family rooms which can cater for 2 adults and 2 kids with en-suites. It also has a commercial kitchen which you can use to cook your meals which was great for feeding our kids. Breakfast...

Mark and Charlie were fantastic - offering advice and recommendations on where to eat, what to do, onsens etc. After a bit of a mishap and broken ankle snowboarding we hired a car from Windy Lodge down the road and were able...

Myself and 3 of my friends stayed here for 4-day snowboarding trip last week and Panketo Lodge was absolutely fantastic. The place has a fantastically chilled out, relaxing atmosphere, where the people there are happy to talk to you and help however they can. Happo-One's ski lifts are a two minute walk away, and if you're sore after a day...
