We stayed at gakuto villas for a week. It was a really fantastic place to stay. The villas are modern, spacious, stylish and well equipped. The staff are incredibly helpful and approachable. The lady who is the manger of the property is outstanding. My husband, unfortunately, hurt himselfskiing on the first day, but the staff were very helpful and willing to...

We loved our 5-night stay. Family with 2 girls 19 and 14. Modern Scandinavian styling; tiled bathrooms; huge bedrooms; stunning private views out over the snow to the trees from floor to ceiling windows in bedrooms and lounge. The windows can be left uncovered as there are no overlooking buildings. The kitchen was adequate for basic meals. Good washing machine...

Gakuto Villas were a perfect place to stay for our family of 4. The kitchen and bathrooms functioned well with two teenage boys and whilst there was no specific drying the room, the main bathroom doubled as a drying room. The view from every window was spectacular and the bus stop at the front of the villas made access to...

Excellent place to stay, cozy and clean, plenty of space for 6 of us. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Yuki who can speak fluent English and help contact Happo-one while one of us lost his wallet on the slope and luckily he got the wallet back! Thanks to her! The location of the house is a bit far from main...

January 2015, family with two boys 18 and 16, perfect location for restaurants and the slopes and the staff could not have been more helpful. Stunning Villas, nice and warm, if you can get Villa 12 its the best, right at the end of the property nestled in the trees.

I stayed here with my family and enjoyed it very much. Overall excellent. Some points: - The villa was very warm with good floor heating, we were never cold - There were two comfortable bedrooms (one one each floor). One had a king bed, the other two singles. There is an extra bed in the closet, so you can sleep...

Our family of 4 (2 kids, 13 and 12 years old) loved staying in Gakuto Villas at Chinese New Year 2015. Very convenient - every night we walked to local restaurants - great variety within 10 minute walk. Only 10 min walk to slopes. We usually had morning pick up around 9-9:15 which was easy (for Evergreen or Hakuba Snow...

Located in picturesque Wadano, Gakuto Villas were pretty much perfect. The villas are modern, with excellent underfloor heating, and comfortably furnished. The small kitchen is basic, but adequate. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My only criticism would be the lack of a dedicated drying room. There's plenty of dedicated storage space for skis etc in the foyer, but that...

First time to ski and experience snow for our 3 kids, 12 & 10 year old boys and a 7 year old girl. They have fallen in love! Gakuto villa is conveniently located, next to shuttle route to ski lifts. Very spacious, cozy and homely modern design. Helpful staff and cul de sac was great for kids to play in...

Everything you need on a ski break .. Highly recommended! The location and service are excellent and quite a picturesque setting. Close to the slopes and amenities and in the old Olympic Village. Also has a good pickup service to and from the bus stop.

“We had Villa02, which received a bit of noise on the Saturday night with revelling skiiers heading home - perhaps the higher numbers, off the street, would not suffer this. But I only mention it for people who would prefer absolute quiet - we loved being so close to the bus stop!”
