My brother and I stayed in one of the cabins. The cabin was breathtaking. We had a little igloo out front. The staff had outstanding customer service. Games nights and burgers was brilliant. The hotel shuttle to local attractions and slopes made getting around easy. Plus the staff gave great advice regarding best gear, slopes, and weather. The girls at... More

It was our first time in Hakuba and we had a great time. The team at Aqua took care of everything including ski lift passes, ski hire and lessons. They picked us up from the bus and drove us to the ski lifts every morning. We had a lovely buffet breakfast each morning and ate in the restaurant at night... More

Wow, these guys could not be more attentive to all of your needs. From the moment we were collected from the bus stop upon arrival to the time of check-out, we were made feel most welcome and no request was too much. As first timers to Hakuba, Aqua Alpine would be our recommendation for a family stay. We loved the... More

The Aqua Alpine was amazing. It is in a superb location, 300m to the bottom of the ski lifts, and within 5 minutes walk of quite a few restaurants and bars. The staff here are incredible. The manager Josh is so helpful, and will do whatever it takes to make sure your stay is great. He is obviously very careful... More

Stayed there based on a friends recommendation and we were not let down. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were the only people staying at the lodge. Yes the place was busy and we mingled with other guests at the bar and restaurant, but service wise the staff went out of their way to make it feel... More

Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms, great communal lounge with fireplace, fabulous restaurant for dinner and breakfast. By far though, the best feature is the amazing service - nothing is too hard - from transfers to and from any ski slopes or shops or station to advice on where best to ski. We left some clothes in the dryer and they... More

Served good steak, but the group dinner one night was mmiserable and expansive - tiny portions at the center of each large plate. Friendly service suddenly turned frigid when we shortened our stay and asked for transport assistance to a better value hotel very close by.

This is a B&B type accomodation in true Aussie style. It's close to the Hakuba 47 ski slopes with a free shuttle service . The accomodation is neat but basic and food options are limited around the hotel area. The attached restaurant has themed nights. What makes this place stand out is the staff and service. They are always at... More

The staff here truly go above and beyond to ensure the best possible experience. Really comfortable bedding and the entire lodge is at kept at a great temperature. The onsen was great after a day on... More

It was my first time visiting Hakuba in Nagano, and there couldn’t be a better place to access the slopes. The hotel has its own shuttle, which takes a mere 5 minutes to get to the base slopes, or you can walk 20 or so minutes there. If you hire a ski instructor, they often also provide transport, so you... More
