Food is simply of the highest quality. Service is also of the highest quality. So happy my wonderful wife took me to this extraordinary restaurant. Very understated environment but so very good. Great new onsen. Bedrooms could be better but we came for the food and it was one of the best meals I have had EVER!

The staff were very friendly , but the language barrier was very difficult. Breakfast had to be in your room only and not in the resturant and croissants jam and tea / coffee for breakfast. Well i dont eat those and it took 10 min to explain this. Our room was so small and shaped like a letter c with...

We started our Japan holiday at the Traumerei and we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome to this beautiful country. We were greeted by the staff at the bus stand and she drove us to the hotel, partly covered in snow, we couldn't get enough of the magnificent structure. The room was spacious, clean and warm; with little windows...

This stay was an amazing experience that just kept giving! Nishino the owner was lovely to deal with on the phone when I made my booking. He organised a complimentary pick up for us from hakuba station (we then enjoyed several complimentary pick up and drop offs during our stay from the always accommodating and friendly staff). The sight of...

Spent three nights at Traumarei and loved every one! Highlights for us: - the staff are all lovely and constantly go above and beyond to ensure your experience is A1. We were chauffeured around Hakuba as required at no cost. The owner is a great bloke and took the time to have drinks with us one evening, sharing some of...

I can't recommend this hotel enough. The service was outstanding. From the moment we arrived they sat us down with a cup of tea and a piece of cake and went through things we may need during our stay ie, booking ski hire, ski lessons, how to book the private onsen (a must do after a day on the slopes),...

An outstanding hotel. We were a family of five with three guests aging from 14 to 60 on a two week skiing holiday. Everything about the Traumerei meant we had a wonderful holiday despite the worst skiing weather in Hakuba for 15 years. Excellent service with every member of staff clearly set to make sure we had a great stay...

My family stayed here for A week whilst skiing in Hakuba and I've got to say it was the most memorable thing we did in the trip. We met the host and he was the most amazing man to talk too. One night he cooked us A traditional Japanese meal, for free, just because it was one of his hobbies...

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. The level of attention to detail and superb service, which was so very personal, were the outstanding features of why we enjoyed staying here so much. For us the location was perfect as we skied at Goryu, but the easy walking distance to some of the nearby pubs and restaurants, including Echoland...

We're sitting here on the last morning of our 8 night stay, enjoying our beautiful in-room cooked breakfast, which includes French pastries. We've had the best family holiday ever, in the most hospitable place we've ever visited. To say that Nishino San and his team go above and behind the call of duty is the biggest understatement ever. We have...
