Stayed at the hotel for one night. There is a free shuttle bus from Asahikawa so getting to the hotel was easy. The staff were polite and helpful, making us feel welcomed the moment we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great view. The onsen was good, especially the outdoor pool. Had a great time at...

We booked this hotel as it is near the Blue Pond although eventually we didnt manage to visit due to recent closure of the pond after typhoons. However the onsen is still a nice place, relaxed and not as many group tourists as it's neighbor. Food was average. The outdoor onsen is nice. Room was ok, clean and spacious. Well...

We stayed here mainly because it is near to Blue Pond and the Shirahige Fall. Checked into the traditional Japanese Room which was reasonably spacious for a family of 3. As we didn't find any children Yukata in the room, we approached the front desk for help but the staff seems a little reluctant when handing over the robe. Dinner...

Simple, traditional onsen hotel near shirogane falls. Close proximity to the blue pond, good place to stay if you are driving, but is accessible to biei town by half an hour shuttle bus ride. Onsen is comfortable to soak in. Room is comfortable, does not come with AC but is cool enough with the windows opened. Simple and nice traditional...

We stayed here for two nights, traditional Japanese type of room, half-board. I chose to stay here because of the blue pond nearby and the fall. The other reason would be because the two cousins that was with us were first-timer to Japan and to stay in traditional onsen Japanese style hotel and room would be good experience for them....

Location: The ryokan did not provide a mapcode but it is not difficult to drive from Asahikawa. Very close to the Shirogane Falls. The structure looks better than I thought with elevator. Room: Very standard room, our room face the front, yet still quiet. but there was no toiletries in the bathroom. Maybe they expect you to shower after the...

We found ourselves at the end of the road after flower viewing in Biei and managed to secure a room here as it was getting dark and the camping spot down the road was nice - but we didn't have any bedding with us to stay in the huts. Anyway, we were too late for set dinner and had room...

Initially, I chose this hotel because of the pictures I found. However, the actual location was not as interesting. Though there is a new wing, the hotel appears to be of some age. The rooms in this wing were also not really new. The only interesting was the Shirogane Falls at the side. The staircase leading to the volcanic activities...

We were a bit disappointed when we set foot on the hotel - we had stayed at other onsen hotels in Japan before and were expecting the same (or higher) quality accommodation. Staff were a bit impersonal but maybe that has something to do with the language barrier. Although clean & good-sized, the room looked bland and the TV was...
