We held our daughter's wedding at the Springfield Hotel and I can strongly recommend the hotel as a great value, unpretentious and friendly venue. The staff, particularly Paul, could not be more helpful and certainly took away some of the anxiety in getting a wedding organised! The reception dinner was lovely and plentiful as was the evening buffet - overall... More

I was actually here for a swimming course, and the instructor is brilliant. The hotel is in a nice location, with easy access to everything, although a car is practically essential. Food and service are excellent, and there is so much to see in beautiful Wales. Snowdonia National Park is about an hour away. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, so... More

Have eaten here a few times recently and always been pleased with quality of food & good service, so decided to book for a family Sunday lunch to celebrate a special birthday. There was quite a large party of us and three were children, several were vegetarian and one vegan. Despite being busy as they always are for their excellent... More

I accompanied my wife who I had booked on the 5 day swimming course. She was extremely anxious, but on the first day she glided across the pool with her head under water, on the second day she swam the width. By the tine she finished she could do the length and swim back, float and tred water. Steve was... More

Stayed in room 33 on the ground floor. A twin room which was ideal for my elderly mother who can't manage stairs too well but generally speaking we found the room to be rather cramped. It only had a single wardrobe so its really only suitable for an overnight stay. Unfortunately we found there was a lot of movement in... More

This hotel is situated just off the A55 not far from Chester. Our room was small and cosy with high quality wooden furniture in a traditional style. It had a flat screen TV and tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities. The double bed was comfortable as were the leather chairs in the room. One thing I did like was... More

I have used the Springfield Hotel in Holywell for both business and pleasure, on many occasions. The best thing about the Hotel, is the consistency of service. The team are attentive, the facilities are very good for the star rating, the food is spot on and I can genuinely say everything has been great on each visit. If you are... More
