Went for one night for DB&B on a voucher deal. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the warm welcome to the lovely dinner, cheery staff and departure after a huge breakfast. Alyth itself is a very friendly place. Lovely walk through trees beside a wee river at the Den.

Arrived just after 2pm and had to go into bar area for check in as reception desk was empty. Was okay tho. Wasn't amused as I had specifically requested a double room and instead got a family room with three single beds! Not happy! was told that Hotel was full and that's all they had. We made the most of...

Just had a 2 night break at this traditionally decorated hotel. The room we had was in need of refurbishment, and possibly near a ventilation unit, as we heard a constant noise during the night. The room was warm and good quality bath sheets provided, which made up for the shower door not closing ! The breakfast, high tea and...

Bought as an overnight plus evening meal groupon/woucher deal. Rooms are clean. Food is good. Staff pleasant. Hotel is in need of modernisation +++. Our room was above the bar it was very loud, the locals sounded boisterous and were having a great time. It was ok for what we paid about £50.

Dinner, bed and breakfast. Lovely little traditional hotel. Building work going on outside, but that is because 3 of their bridges were washed away in horrendous floods, causing extensive damage to homes, businesses and property. The hotel is now recovering, and definitely worth a visit. Friendly staff, lovely room, and the first time in 30 odd years that I have...

We did not stay at this small rural hotel but just ate in their busy dining room. Spent a lovely evening here for a family meal. There were 10 of us and we were all impressed with both the food and service. The choice of food from the menu was varied and fresh as well as daily choices. Well done...
