Un hotel sencillo pero prolijo. Una excelente opción para aquellos que no cuentan con demasiado dinero.
PROS: Habitación completa con tv cable, aire acondicionado, ventilador, heladera y calefón propio. Muy limpio. Cama comoda. Personal amable. Tiene un jardin bastante lindo. Muy buen precio. Muy buena ubicación. Excelente ambiente.
Contra: El baño de la habitación era muy chiquito, no cuenta con servicio a la habitación, el desayuno no es muy variado.
Estaria bueno que mejoraran el patio que tienen, que es bastante grade, esta mal aprovechado.
Sin duda volveria ! Muy recomendable !

Finding online information about accommodation options in Mercedes had been a challenge. We arrived after dark with little idea about where to stay. But with a little guidance from the ever hospitable Uruguayan locals we were directed to Hotel Ito. Nestled unobtrusively amongst villas, the hotel was initially hard to find. But once inside we were met by a charming receptionist who patiently endured our fumbling Spanish. The hotel is small and single storey with basic but comfortable rooms. Its in a quiet street and the thick stone walls ensure a very peaceful night. Breakfast comprised a rather humble selection of small bread rolls, pastries and jams. But sitting in the tiny front dining room with the morning sun streaming through the window was a delight. The quaint tree lined cobblestone streets of Mercedes, together with its welcoming residents makes it a well worthwhile stopover.

90 pesos was rather stiff for a cup of coffee and rather slim choice of pastries. So skip it
and have breakfast somewhere else. 450 pesos per night for a single room was so so.
It is far away from bus station, so you may have to take a taxi.

Viajamos por dos días y una noche , a desenchufarse un poco y de casualidad caímos ahí porque era barato básicamente. El cuarto estaba bien , la cama era cómoda , todo estaba muy limpio y nos atendieron muy cordialmente. Por $90 accedimos al desayuno , básico pero muy rico y sin restricciones (No podemos pedir más por lo que nos cobraron). Muy conformes.

Estuve en varias oportunidades. Lugar bastante economico, pocas habitaciones y servicio medio. es para pasar solo una noche en caso de apuro o bajo presupuesto.

El Hotel Ito, como lo dice su nombre es un pequeño hotel, en un edificio encantador, de, supongo yo, principios del siglo 20, muy bien conservado y donde han tenido bastante cuidado en las renovaciones. Parece ser que fue una escuela de música municipal a comienzos de siglo.
El mobiliario es pintoresco, ya que hay una mezcla de estilos y épocas por todas partes.
La limpieza es impecable, la iluminación horrorosa, el personal de la noche, Marcelo, es encantador, amable y atento, el personal del día parece sacado de una película de zombies¡¡
Tienen un patio pequeñito, pero precioso, que aún conserva un aljibe en perfecto estado.
En resumen si andan por Mercedes, con poco dinero es una buena opción.

EXCELENTESy de la terminal de omnibus.. de ahí seguí viaje a la maravillosa Estancia La Sirena. HABITACIONES PRIVADAS CON BAÑO PRIVADO, AIRE ACONDICIONADO, TV, HELADERA FRIGOBAR... excelente lugar y atención, tarifas muy accesibles, cerca del centro y de la terminal, de ahí seguí viaje a la maravillosa Estancia La Sirena.
