this is a truly wonderful place - modern quality accommodation, public areas and terrace/pool - but smoking is allowed on the bar terrace and, when the breeze is from the river, the smoke permeates the main sitting areas upstairs and down. almost turned back just before reaching lodge as track became rough - probably needs one more sign as gps...

We loved the resort, surroundings, location, price, accommodations, view of crocodile river, sightings of animals (especiallythe zebras and the warhthog family that came everyday around 4 to eat our fallen Marula fruits), tambo night, dancers, everything was wonderful except for the communication of the front desk and the availability of staff. They have everything there for guests except we couldn't...

The lodge is in an excellent location, quite near to one of the entrance gates Kruger Park. The view from the lodge is spectacular and many animals come within seeing distance. The room was very comfortable and the service really good. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and management. The meals at the lodge were of an excellent...

The lodge is a little dated and outside furniture is not in harmony with the surroundings. The rooms are however comfortable and dinner was nice although not that elaborate as we have experienced later during our trip. The view is wonderful however we where unlucky with spotting any animal from the terrace. You need at least a 2 night stay...

We stayed in the self-catering apartment. Well equipped and comfortable. Nice little area to braai and eat out side. The lodge is also very beautifully situated on the banks of the Crocodile river and we watched herds of elephants come down to the river on 3 occasions. The pool area is really great. Also nice to walk or jog around...

Crocodile bridge rest camp is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Whether its camping, tented camps or chalets. This is a quiet escape. No restaurant, so take your meat, wood and charcoal. Start a fire and spend quality quiet time with your partner. The bush is a magical escape.

We stayed down the road at a different lodge which we had trouble with from the start. The rest of our party stayed at the Crocodile and Jacques, the manager, did everything to ensure that our stay in Marloth was brilliant. He got our keys for us, provided towels and treated us as though we were staying in his accommodation....
