Stayed here for 3 nights with a party of 13. Comfortable spacious rooms, excellent breakfasts and also had two good evening meals here. Friendly attentive staff. Good base for local walking, especially for exploring Hadrian's Wall and Tyne valley.

Went here on the off chance on a sunday . we were served straight away staff were very attentive. The food was all home cooked very tasty and most importantly hot.. We will certainly be back again . highly recommended..
