We absolutely loved this house. We had a large room with lovely views of the hills around us. A country atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Mike and Catherine were fantastic hosts, with plenty of maps and suggestions for country walks and pubs to try in the village.

We had a wonderful long WE, walking, eating and snoring. A wonderful place for a peaceful love retreat. I particularly loved the garden (they are improving it ...) and the scenery from the living room. Much recommended for lovers (when kids are away !)

We had a lovely 3-night stay here as a base for exploring the area. Great hosts, room & breakfast. You can borrow maps and get great trip advice. Make sure you explore the "Woodland walk"! You do need a car to get around.

This B and B is in a lovely position and is ideal for walking and cycling. The breakfasts were very good and you had variety of foods on a menu which was the same each day. Only down side is I must have gone at the time when the horse flys were hungry cos the took chunks out of me.

Lovely hosts, beautiful location, rare breed sheep, geese and chickens as well as whirligig beetles on the raised pond! First class accommodation rounded out a perfect 10. No downsides, but the location might be a challenge in the depths of winter.

Beili Helyg really is a nice place to stay in the Brecon Beacons. Farmhouse, beautiful renovated, fantastic views of the landscape from there. The room was nice furnished and very cosy. Breakfast and the handmade cakes were delicious. Mike and Caroline were very nice hosts, helpful in every case, especially in finding walking routes. We did the Four Waterfalls Tour,...

fabulous farm guest house. Felt as if we had hired a whole cottage for ourselves. Peaceful location, lovely owners who provide everything you could possibly require and very knowledgeable for local walks. This was a return visit and it didn't disappoint.

We happened upon this place on the internet while looking for a B&B for the weekend in order to visit this part of the southern Brecon Beacons. It all looked good on the web site. This is the ideal place for anyone wanting to visit this wonderful area of wilderness. If you are a walker, everything is provided for you....a...
