Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I attended a conference here and very much enjoyed the area. There is a restaurant a few shops, some animals and a small water area. It's very clean and I especially enjoyed my lunch. The shops were pricey but other than that it was a great experience!

We have been driving around Honduras the last three days. In places that are not specifically tourist destinations, it is not easy to find what one might consider a decent hotel. For the most part, we have some very nice hotels at excellent prices!
My room here is HUGE!!!! There are three full-size beds and three nightstands and a desk and a mid-size refrigerator and huge bathroom and a big closet and flatscreen TV. On the premises, there is a small grocery store and Café and restaurant looks like there are a few stores but we got here after they were closed. I did not venture out as I usually do because so far I have sensed a little bit of insecurity or un-safety here. I may be overreacting but I figure it is better to be safe than sorry. If it were daytime, I might wonder out because there are lights look like other restaurants and stores nearby.
The staff here are very professional and super friendly! That makes a huge difference.

Food is very good most of the time, I've had overcooked pasta before which is weird since the owner is italian. Overall a very nice place, decent prices although the charging policy is not transparent. I did see a hair in the rice pudding

I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the last 20 years when I am visiting Sigua. It has a variety of Honduran and international dishes and the service is great. The little zoo is a nice touch. There is also a hotel but I have not stayed there. There is a market attached to the restaurant which sells fresh bread and cookies.

Five of us stopped here on our way from La Ceiba to Tegucigalpa, and we were all impressed by the food, the decor, the cleanliness, and the prices! We enjoyed a delicious dinner, then walked through the store and were impressed with all the fresh and local foodstuffs. What a great place to stop and eat on a road trip! I would definitely go there again!!!

Extremely dirty and noisy motel accommodations. Had to change rooms because of dirty floors and bathroom. Could not sleep because of noisy corridors. Poor front desk service. Not recommended. Musty smell throughout accommodations.

Came from a family trip and had to stay in this hotel because was tired of driving so we decided to stay here and visit town. First in reception they gave us a room in a new area they had and said it was the best. It was actually a new room but too new, it had an awful and strong paint smell that gave me instant headache, went and asked to be moved but they said no more rooms were available, we didnt book before since it was not planned and had already payed so we stayed. Went to buy medicine and slept. At 5am there was the gardener cutting grass with a machine making an awful noice, really dont have any consideration for the guest. Need to be more oriented to customer service and a better staff. Room and bathroom were clean.

Over the years it has been a great place to eat but it is now just ok. The selection is good but the portions are small and not as good a value as other restaurants in the area. Sorry to see it go this route. Hate where someone comes to your table trying to see what you took off the buffet to make the bill. Very inefficient.

Rooms were spacious, clean, good running water. Not all rooms have air conditioning but fans. This would be a plus as during this period outside weather is quite warm. Not is not a problem as temperature has a 30 something drop so it's comfortable. But during the hot days, you really can't stay too long in the rooms without the A/C. Complex has restaurant, local store for many amenities which you might require. Food is excellent at restaurant. One of the lobby persons at the hotel which I believe deserves special mention, her name is Damaris, was above board with her excellent customer service. Helped my quest and I with everything we asked of her. She worked at night. And besides being very professional, was real nice to all of us. This made us feel welcomed. Sorry can't say the same about the early morning person as she was not well informed, trained, and was nothing more than a pretty face. This is the only reason I could not give this hotel a 5 star rating. Security is very visible as this place gets many visitors and is right next to a major highway.

I stayed in this property in order to attend a work conference. The place is big and offer different services (restaurant, bar, supermarket, conference centre and hotel). The rooms are large but there are some basic things that need improvement. There is no telephone in the room. If you want to ask a question to Reception or order food from the restaurant, you need to walk there. No elevator but plenty of stairs. The towels are old and they show. The wifi is very slow.
