Nice and comfortable hotel, very friendly collaborators. The only thing I can reproach is that they did not tell us that it was on 2 floors and in my family several people were on the 3rd. Age that they could not go up and down steps and we had to make changes and stay on separate floors for their comfort

The rooms were very small, especially the bathroom. The shower was just big enough to stand in and turn around in, no extra room for movement there! It was nicely furnished and very clean. The AC worked very well and the WiFi also worked very well. Convenient to local shopping and restaurants. Armed security guards out front, never felt unsafe at all.

Had a good time, service was exceptional.Comfortable room and a very nice and clean place. They offered us a couple package which made our trip unforgettable. I beleive the food is important, and in the morning next day they had a restaurant service with a great quality breakfast.

When I arrived I was confused where I had to park my car, so I signaled the receptionist inside to assist me. He wouldn't move and ignored me. Despite this attitude I decided to try to stay since it was 11:00 pm and was not interested in searching another hotel. I waited for about 3 minutes until a guard outside told me where to park.
Inside I asked the receptionist why he hadn't come outside to assist me and he told me he was "concerned for his safety and wouldn't risk going out". So not only did he ignore me, he also thought of me as a criminal. I told him it was a shame the country's situation should make the hotel's quality of service bad.
Also I asked him to give me the invoice with my company's name and he told me he would give it to me in the morning. I told him to give it to me at the moment so I wouldn't forget. For some reason he insisted in giving it the next day until I asked him very seriously to hand it.
I believe he was making an excuse to not write the form down and leave it to whoever is on the morning shift.
Also, upon entering the bathroom I found the hand towels had some stains on them and the water sink was loose.
I'm writing this down on the night and already convinced that I won't be returning here.

Response from DEEHOTELIER, Owner at Park Place Hotel
Responded 15 July 2016
Dear Sir we are mostly ashamed of all that happened, it is intolerable not to make a visitor feel safe and welcome on his/her arrival (Specially at night). The attitude of this receptionist does not reflect by far our staff spirit. We will take your comment as a proof that his behavior is not only affecting our cities peace perception, but also seriously injuring all the love and effort his work mates and leaders are putting into our dear hospitality establishment. We thank the time you took to write down this comment late at night, and I invite you to visit my office if you can, next time you are in Siguatepeque so we can give our apologies in person. As a family owned hotel, and being in business for over 20 years, we can promise you, we will do all we have to in order to guarantee an improvement in this issue, hoping that you´ll take in consideration giving us the pleasure to serve you once more. With the best spirit of the Hospitality, Park Place Hotel Owner

We live on the island of Roatan in Honduras. For kicks, we ride our motorcycle all over Central America, staying at B&B's and small hotels along the way. We love Siguatepeque. Park Place Hotel is newly renovated, has nice rooms with comfortable beds, attentive staff and includes a fine breakfast in their restaurant. We REALLY love it here. One of the best values around.....we feel it is our "home away from home" and visit often.

We stayed here while on a business visit. The service was excellent and everyone was especially nice and helpful. The rooms were smaller but clean and in good condition, particularly the bathrooms. The location of my room was off the main street and very quiet in the evening, but I doubt think it would have mattered as the town seemed quiet at night. There is a small exercise room (the equipment was not in great shape but useable) and a small pool and spa on the rooftop terrace.
The included breakfast was fantastic; with the option of a traditional Honduran countryside breakfast (very filling). An added bonus was free movie tickets to the theater around the corner (same owners as the hotel).

Really nice rooms, free Internet, an incredibly delicious breakfast and people always going the extra mile serve you is something you can count on every day!
The hotel is located on main street, right across from Central Park, a beautiful pool at the roof with incredible views of the town, and a play room full of amenities will make this hotel the perfect place if you are traveling with kids, the hotel has private security and it is located a block away from the main police station.

I will rate this hotel 5 stars. Customer service was first class, room was clean with great attention to details, staff went out of the way to accommodate our every need. My wife was not feeling well and one of the staff member (Mr Stewart) went to find an open pharmacy and get the required medicine. Service supersede all our expectations, no doubt this is the best hotel in Siguatepeque Honduras.

Stayed here with a missions team in June 2011. The hotel did everything they could to accommodate a group of 16 North American, and it definitely showed. Not only are their rooms beautiful and new, but they have a pool, game room, internet and cable. Breakfast can also be included, which is across the street. If you're in Siguat and want to stay in town, this is a great place to stay!
