We spent 4 days at Casa Verde and it was the highlight of our Spanish road trip. Pilar and Andrew were the absolute perfect hosts. Pilar took the time to explain different activities we could do in the area and make reservations for us at two Bodegas to visit. We are travelling around the world and have stayed at a...

Ana and Steve were warm and welcoming when we arrived (a little late) at Casa Verde. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed and the Euro/canadian style breakfast the next morning was a real treat. La Casa Verde was a great location and with local information provided by Ana's extensive local knowledge of the area, we ended...

Let me begin by emphasizing that the owners are charming and kind but that has to take second place to the B&B experience. Again in mitigation, I have to point out that they are dedicated full time school teachers with three children at home. So where to begin? We arrived and no one was at home but we entered the...

We feel rather sad that reading your opinion. Let me begin by saying that yes, we are a family with three children, full time teachers and a helper who is sweet and wonderful. You arrived in te morning when I was at work, Emily welcomed you and offered you a cup of tea which you described as heartwarming. My husband...

6 friends from Norway have twice used Steve and Anna to host us while we explore Rioja. A lovely rural location 10 minutes from Rioja gives you the best of both worlds. A relaxed family atmosphere with pets and things to do outside is great for kids and adults alike. Using Steve and Anna´s local knowledge we have dined at...

We stayed here for three nights in March 2012, and found both the house and the location perfect. An easy drive to explore much of Rioja, and just a short trip into Logrono for dinner etc. Anna and Steve were friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive -- there when we needed them, recommended some great local hikes and sights, but otherwise left...

My wife and 2 older boys 20 and 24 spent a night at this lodge. Ana made us feel welcome and made sure we could find a spot for dinner. She suggested a walk to the top of the big rocks that were near the house, Very challenging hike, but well worth the time to scale the rock. Ana would...

Anna & Steve were most welcoming. The rooms were very spacious and as we were the only guests we were offered 2 rooms with own bathrooms instead of a triple room. We were provided with excellent information about Logrono and the surrounding areas. Three nights was not enough to do it all!! Thankyou for being wonderful hosts and making us...

A very uncomfortable two night stay in a low market B&B. Should have been fabulous as it sits beneath huge rocks that are home to a large colony of vultures and the rooms were potentially ideal being built specifically for paying guests. We were exploring the area and doing a lot of walking and it would have been nice to...
