Visited this pub after going to see Beatrix Potters Hill Top. It was a horrible rainy day. We were warmly greeted with a lovely log fire in this atmospheric pub. Enjoyed a beer and sandwich before facing the rain again. Delicious sandwich made with good bread and the usual Cambrian ham. My number one find of the holiday.

Nice proper country pub. Probably need to book for food as beatrix house next door sends patrons this way. Nice sized rooms keep it quaint. Nice selection of real ales and friendly staff. Small beer garden with a few seats but great view to mull over.

The Tower Bank Arms is situated in the village where Beateix Potter's Hill Top home is. The pub does not open until 12 noon amd at lunch time only serves sandwiches which are excellent, freshly made and of generous portions and craft ales. Parking is difficult and itmis a shame the pib is not open a bit earlier for coffee...

Enjoyed a meal here while on holiday in the area. Good service, friendly staff and great food (large portions too!). If you like traditional pubs you will enjoy this one and if you are a fan of Beatrix Potter's books you will recognise it so a visit is a must!

Outdoor seating, Lakeland fells, locally brewed beer choices & a couple of packets of crisps. Tower Bank seemed like an off the beaten track local with a few tourists thrown in for good measure. However, this was exactly what we were looking for. Pub grub being eaten in a busy restaurant but we were just passing by. Would definitely return.

Short list of sandwiches, but excellent quality, freshly made; delicious. So good we went back again later this summer and tried the skinny fries with sea salt and rosemary. Will definitely be going again Friendly staff and the beer was good too! Parking is restricted in this village due to proximity of Hill Top House (National Trust).

Came for a meal to the Tower Bank Arms. Food was superb. Wine was amazing. Staff very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend. We had the stew and sausage and mash. Would most definitely have it again. Shame the Scottish bar man and the landlord weren't there because they are a good laugh with good banter.

Went here for a couple of nights with family and dog. Could not ask for more. Food great. Room great. Beer great. Best of all the staff who are so friendly. We will return. Gizmo the dog especially loved his first holiday.

Spent one night here enroute to Scotland and I would definately want to return. This pub is cosy, charming, serves excellent food in the beautiful restaurant and offers a good nights sleep as well. The rooms are well equipped and breakfast is served in the bar with a gorgeous view to distract you from choosing from the extensive menu! It's...
