Checked in today, let me see, mmm. Pokey wee room, very dated. Not the normal standard I have come to expect from MacDonald hotels. Right beside some sort of fridge plant, no sleep for me tonight. Bathroom is terrible, in need of complete renovation and a good clean. If you're bigger than the average person you will have difficulty using...

Nice venue for a meeting with good access. Wifi free and fairly fast connection. Lunch menu is decent and not over priced. Staff friendly and competent. Parking at the front of the hotel and is free of charge.

Have stayed here before on a few occasions. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms clean and well cleaned. Wifi good during this visit, but has been patchy at times previously. Breakfast good, usual self-serve cereals, fruit, meat and cheese, plus hot breakfasts which can include all the usuals, inc black pudding, or tailored to your desire and are tasty enough....

Positives are location, peace and quiet, parking and very good service from the staff. My room was a little disappointing as it was a not serviced very well, for example there was no plug in the bathroom sink. The WiFi is weak and dropped out intermittently. The food and drinks are expensive and not high quality in the evening, the...

As regular spa break ladies we paid a little more for this two day break last weekend than we normally have in other hotels but sadly the experience wasn't worth the extra. We had a catalogue of disasters from our arrival on the Friday. From cold food, haphazard service, an inability to get simple orders right, dated bedrooms with cracked tiles in...

Went on Sunday for their fixed price lunch. Not a big menu, but the food was well presented and of a high standard. I had the pork belly which was excellent, my partner had the beef which was melt in the mouth. The meal was a dream, service was good but the restaurant was freezing, really cold. This might come as...

Just back from a long weekend here for my birthday. The staff - they were all very friendly and helpful, however we had to call down to reception three times to have something delivered to our room. The room - the bed was really huge and comfortable, however the room was a bit dated and the could do with some...

Just had a fantastic three night stay at this hotel. From check in to check out the staff were absolutely amazing and could not do enough for you. Very friendly and relaxed. We ate in the Scottish steakhouse twice and can honestly best ribeye I have eaten. Great meal on both occasions. Will definitely be back.

Having looked forward to booking into the Inchyra for 'the dining experience' we were left totally disappointed by the extremely poor standard of our room. The two chairs in our room were dirty and stained and the carpet had a thread worn spot. The bathroom tiles were loose and in need of being re -grouted. The bath panel was warped...

I don't think I have ever been in such an awful room - outdated, dusty and dirty, no blackout curtains. Requested a different room but was told the only one available was the same type. Staff was unhelpful. I felt like cancelling and looking for a different hotel and would have done so if I wasn't too tired.
