We have stayed at Sandholm with Audrey and Jim, for 6 years now, returning each Easter with various members of our extended family (4 children age 18 upwards and spouses as well as grandparents, staying in the apartment and the cottages. Its a home from home, a truly welcoming place made better by Audrey and Jim who help make the...

My husband and I had a wonderfully relaxing week in Morar, the bungalow was cosy, warm and all we needed for a well needed break from reality. The views are stunning and we saw lots of wildlife nearby, stags, eagles, seals etc. In the village there is an amazing Thai takeaway and a friendly hotel where we enjoyed a lovely...

Jim and I am glad that you enjoyed your holiday so much. The weather was quite kind and the cottage would have been lovely and warm. The option to use open fire makes such a difference on colder evenings. We look forward to seeing you again.

Having read the other reviews, we can only concur what has already been said about these wonderful cottages and their location. We stayed w/c 5th Sept and were blessed with a week of superb weather with our stay in one of the cottages. It has already been said in previous reviews to take along your camera and binos, which is...

These cottages are perfect for a family holiday. They are modern, lots of space, well equipped and peaceful. Perfectly located for the beach at Morar, the small town of Mallaig and many local walks. A great base for travelling a lttle further afield to Fort William, the small Islands and Syke . The views from the main rooms are amazing....

Jim and I are glad that you enjoyed your holiday so much and look forward to seeing you at Sandholm again some time in the not too distant future. I like your comment about binoculars and cameras as I had never thought to suggest to our visitors to make sure to bring them.

We have holidayed on the stunning Antrim and Northumberland coasts in recent years and appreciated the views from our holiday homes there but the view from Sandholm cottages in Morar really cannot be surpassed! We are in the area for a couple of weeks and stayed at Morar for only a week but we really regret not remaining in Morar...

We were surprised how spacious the cottage (there are 2) was we stayed in and very quickly found that it was just perfect for our stay. Views from the front windows are across to the islands and the sunsets...

We stayed in the apartment this time because the separate cottages where we have stayed before were fully booked. We were not disappointed, far from it. The apartment is handier for the car park, being practically on the same level. The accommodation is spacious & well-equipped. We loved the view from the dining table (easily seats 6) over the estuary....

The bungalow was lovely, in a quiet, location and excellent for having a relaxing time with friends. Spent 5 nights in March and the weather was amazing: only minutes away to spectacular beaches. Sitting by the coal fire, with a glass of wine looking out at glorious sunsets - perfect

A modern, well equipped bungalow with a fabulous view across Morar's bay to the renowned "silver sands". Hard to fault the property and the owners, who live only yards away, are friendly and helpful. Bear in mind, though, that you have to climb steps from the car park to the front door.
