We don't usually stay in B&Bs, but there were no suitable hotels in the area. It was just a one night stop before catching a ferry. The greeting was warm with home made cake, and both the lounge and bedroom were clean and comfortable. The bedroom was a little on the small side, but adequate for one night. I don't...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glencairn House. Beautiful home, spotless rooms with great views, (ours had a huge balcony) excellent breakfast with good choice, and we must mention the yummy homemade cakes on our return each afternoon. The visitors sitting room is beautiful and the house feels very comfortable. Advice on local walks really good. Unfortunately our dog was...

We had a very warm welcome by Linda and Richard who will do everything to make your stay as good as possible. We stayed in the caravan with our 2 boys it was lovely, we never had to buy eggs as we got them given to us fresh from the garden. A dog bed was provided for our dog and...

I cannot rate this place highly enough! Beautiful lounge for guests which is cosy and inviting, with freshly baked cakes served in the evening - which were delicious! Our room was warm and incredibly comfortable (I threatened to steal the mattress) with a tasteful, modern and spotless en suite shower room. Lovely biscuits and a good selection of teas and...

We visited Glencairn House for a couple of nights towards the end of August. So comfortable and welcoming! We had a family room with the use of a really lovely adjoining sitting room. We felt very at home, loved the warmth from the biomass boiler, had a takeaway from the local Thai place in Morar (excellent) and brought it back...

Spent an overnight at this impressive B&B recently. The establishment is perfectly situated between scenic villages of Morar and Arisaig. It has fantastic rooms, with all the luxuries and amenities the modern traveller would expect: wifi, satellite tv, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, along with up to date en-suite bathroom. The breakfast selection is impressive and memorable...

We booked 2 nights at the Glencairn House whilst visiting family in Mallaig. The B&B is lovely and almost hidden off the main road. We were greeted immediately by 2 friendly dogs! The owners, Richard and Linda were fantastic and made us very welcome. The house itself is very well decorated with a large communal room complete with comfy couches...

This very friendly b&b has lovely Rooms especially on the first floor, where you can relax on a big verandah and unwind. Breakfast has a nice selection and there is no rush to finish. Very dog orientated as there are...

Just back from a nice relaxing break to the Small Isles. Myself and my Wife were originally planning to go camping for the trip, but on the realization that the weather was going to be inclement, we decided to splash out and find a B&B instead. We were lucky enough to come across Glencairn House, as it was nice and...
