Picked at random and didn't know the area, hoped we might end up there on a journey that was an adventure from the start! Were made very welcome and the choice of an excellent evening meal was just right. Good bed, bathroom and breakfast thank you both very much.

Lovely B&B at an amazing location. Ideal if you're driving up or down the A9. Comfortable room, very good breakfast, friendly welcome. It's possible to eat in at night. A plus since the remote location!

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Meals are very good especially the vegetarian haggis. Breakfasts were equally as good. Friendly and welcoming owner. Very helpful and we were collected from the distillery after our tasting session and returned the next morning to collect our car.

We stayed at Balsporran during our second night in Scotland, and it couldn't have been better. Ann and Phil were absolutely amazing to us, and made sure we were comfortable. We had dinner at the B&B as well, which was delicious; followed by a hike up the mountains nearby. I would absolutely recommend Balsporran to everybody travelling in Scotland, and...

Ann and Phil are the perfect hosts. The bed was very comfortable. We might the most delightful couple who were staying there as well. The hiking is...

You can't miss it if you're driving up the A9 - and let's face it everyone has to do that from time to time - the white cottages between the the road and the railway at almost the highest point of both, the Drumochter pass. It always looks busy even...

Absolutely beautiful location overlooking a glen with bubbling stream outside the front door. Very welcoming hosts.Comfortable bed, wonderful home cooked supper and breakfast. Vegetarian haggis was superb. Despite being close to the railway line we could barely hear the woosh of the occasional train
