A last minute booking meant I arrived at 1945hrs. Ample parking next to the hotel which has a lovely bright foyer. WIfi & mobile signal both excellent. Staff were really nice & even though I sat down to eat as the kitchen closed the food was really good and no restriction on choice. My room was spacious with all I...

We met family here, enjoyed a good lunch in the bar area. A great selection for adults on the menu, not much for the children to choose from. There was burgers, steak and salads to choose from, along with baked potatoes and sandwiches. A good selection of starters and a few desserts. Staff and service was excellent.

We stopped off today and found a lovely place for coffee and cake. Lovely decor and the staff are delightful. Gail was adorable and even prepared me an iced coffee which was not on their drinks menu. Highly recommended for service. Lemon Easter cake was nice although a little dry. Would definitely stop off here again.

The wife and I visited the Kirkhouse Inn for a two night stay. I really feel torn for giving this establishment a one star, but I have to be honest at all times when it comes to reviews. First the good - the front desk staff were excellent and friendly. The wife and I really enjoyed the onsite restaurant dinner...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us and we are glad to note that you found the food good and the staff friendly. Our rooms are all very spacious in keeping of an old coaching Inn built in 1601. The commotion you refer to started at 8pm and finished at 11.45pm and was indeed one...

Had an evening 'meal' here recently and wished we hadn't bothered. Everything, except the wine, seemed to have come straight from the freezer and into the microwave. Service and decor are pleasant enough but the food lets it down. Parking is excellent.

Dropped in for a light lunch before visiting the local distillery. All the dishes appeared to be microwaved. When I asked for a roll with my macaroni had to wait until pre-packed part baked roll was baked. Husbands baked potato with haggis was obviously microwaved and my macaroni was bland and served with some slightly cooked frozen peas on top....

Thank you for taking the time to offer your views. All produce at the Kirkhouse Inn is fresh and locally sourced however your comment regarding the par-baked roll is quite correct, we do buy a chilled roll and finish the baking procedure when ordered. We can assure you that all our dishes are not microwaved, the content and skill required...

We stayed at the Kirkhouse Inn after we had toured The Glengoyne Distillery which isn't far. The front desk staff were pleasant. We had prebooked our room online and we checked in without a hitch. We found the Inn to be delightful, from it's tartan decor in the lobby and rooms to it's creaky floors. Afterall, having been built in...

We celebrated my Mum and Dad's Diamond Anniversary with a family meal for 26 of us at the Kirkhouse Inn. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the room we were given was lovely and the choice on the menu and the food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't recommend it more highly for such an occasion. Thank you to all...
