Really lovely little hotel. Comfy bed. Friendly, efficient and welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Super restaurant for evening meal. Nice wine list. It's a country cottage, that's run like a london hotel. A good one. We will be back, and we will recommend to anyone who fits with this lovely little place. Thanks to Alistair for his style !

We stayed for the May bank holiday. Hotel is great if you have a car. Central location allows easy tour of both North and South Coasts. Rooms are quaint and staff look after you well. There is no bar but all drinks are available if you ask. Breakfasts are good to set up for a days touring. The location is...

Had to travel to Bodmin which was unfortunate as unfortunately it's not a place you would choose to visit! However it was made somewhat better by our stay at the Trehallas. We arrived quite late after a horrendously long trip to get there and unfortunately the restaurant closes at half eight...which is a real shame as we would have loved...

Dining room intimate and comfortable with good table spacing. Staff friendly and attentive. Food good to excellent with the overall experience representing value for money. Friends are Farmers and know good food! A very enjoyable evening. We will return.

Booked one night with my dog. Lovely spacious room with huge en suite bathroom, the most comfortable bed (so comfy I had difficulty leaving it!). Spotlessly clean and lovely fluffy towels. Left too early for English breakfast but chef kindly prepared perfectly poached eggs. Only down side I couldn't eat in the hotel with my dog, but I was able...

We had another great time at this hotel. We had to book two double rooms at short notice as we were attending a funeral, but wanted to add a few days break. The team were able to accommodate us, and we were treated like old friends. Our 'gluten free' friend was catered for without any issues. This time, we took...

Just stopped for one night & the staff were very helpful & friendly . Breakfast was excellent & there was a Stately home within walking distance from the hotel . The car park was good & close to our room which was within the main building & not in the stables .

Booked a late stay for one night on my way to a game of golf the following day at the Point Polzeath. I trawled around the net to try and find a nice, reasonably priced hotel, rather than a B&B not to far away from Polzeath and came across the Trehellas House and am rather glad I did; it turned...

We have looked forward to our return to Trehellas House since our last visit in October 2015, and this 6 night visit with 3 friends in March 2017 did not disappoint us. This time my wife and I were in Lanhyrock, a fairly spacious room in the separate block across the carpark, with dual aspect windows overlooking the front, and the...

We stayed for two nights bed & breakfast, and ate dinner in the restaurant on our first night. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our double room was cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent meal in the evening, and freshly cooked breakfast in...
