Had a lovely stay for a few days here. It seemed to be the only place in the village. So we didn't venture out at night. We ate in the bar as we had the 2 dogs with us. The food was gorgeous. We had a huge full English breakfast which set us up for the day and the dogs...

Set a few minutes away from the Westonbirt Arboretum, historic villages of Tetbury and Cirencester. Nice restaurant, cosy decoration. Only caveat : no lounge with active fireplace to relax. Soundproofing of rooms very weak...

My wife and I (plus 2 Newfoundland dogs) stayed here at the beginning of October to attend a Christening in nearby Sherston. It was absolutely ideal in terms of location and perfect as far as the dogs were concerned. Our Cottage rooms comprised two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge/dining room and kitchen ! Although it was a bit dark, all was very...

We were in the area to visit Highgrove and this hotel/pub is very convenient. Staff are absolutely delightful and very helpful. Rooms are not big but okay for one or two nights. Think the four poster frames on the beds are not really necessary. Bathrooms are compact!! But clean. Great wi-fi.................................................... Food is not bad & breakfast excellent.

Five of us stayed here on a recent Saturday night in the Saracen three bedroom multi level apartment in converted stables and loved it. The accommodation offered just the sort of comfortable, romantic character we wanted and we would return in a flash. I don't understand some of the negative comments and although there was still tape at the top...

We opted to stay here (two couples) to break our journey down to Cornwall on a Monday evening. We stayed in a cottage across the courtyard from the pub, two bedrooms, a comfortable lounge and a small kitchen. Very clean and cosy. We enjoyed a good evening meal there (good menu) and were encouraged to take part in the Monday...

Good local bar to drink in but avoid eating here! I ordered a rump steak, not modestly priced at £19.50 and was very unimpressed with sinews of fatty tissue running throughout the whole piece of meat. When I complained the waitress replied "we don't normally have any complaints!" Well, obviously my fault the steak was synonymous to a bundle of...

Stayed for one night at the weekend and was highly impressed by every aspect. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The pub itself is cosy, the wine and ales are excellent and the staff could not be friendlier, from arrival and being shown to the room, to service at dinner. The food I thought was excellent. We had the...

Well I can't really give you an unbiased view of the Kings Arms as it's my local pub. I can say they serve good food, especially the pizzas. The beer is very good and the staff take care to offer a good varied selection. It's important to remember this is a country pub enjoyed by lots of locals, and their...

The food was great, breakfast was super-generous and fab. Re: the room - we stayed in the Bouncer and found the bed to be rather shaky, squeaky and as a result made our night a bit uncomfortable. And also, while there were tea bags and coffee in the room, there was no milk - a bit odd.

Thank NormRob

The King's Arms is a cosy country inn nestled deep within the stunning Cotswold countryside. Combining modern comfort with rustic elegance, each of our cottage-style bed and breakfast rooms have their own individual character. Named after the prize-winning hounds from the nearby Beaufort Hunt, each room includes sumptuous features such as king-size four poster beds, ivory sheepskin rugs and luxurious Feather and Black mattresses and duvets which altogether ensure a relaxing and comfortable night's slumber. Two spacious self-catering cottages are ideal for families and larger parties looking for their own private Cotswolds hideaway. Our restaurant is renowned for using the freshest locally sourced produce.
