Excellent value £59 for Sunday lunch spa facilities overnight stay bottle of prosecco in room and breakfast, only a few niggles I asked the waiter at breakfast for green tea was told I couldn't have it !! And the tranquility of the outdoor pool and rest area was spoilt by constant drilling noises I understand work has to be done...

Positives: Spa has all the facilities you'd want and expect. Good sized pool and enough seating. The treatment rooms are clean and the treatments themselves are good. Restaurant is very nice and the staff are exceptionally courteous and take very good care of you. The grounds are pretty and the local villages are lovely to explore. Negatives: Standard rooms are...

We stayed here for 3 nights while attending a wedding. The room had a lake view which was delightful, however, the rooms are a bit tired looking. Also, being a tea drinker, it was a surprise there was no fridge in the room for milk. Long life milk was provided, but not really acceptable. The breakfast was good with a...

We visited as a family for a weekend to celebrate a large birthday! We really enjoyed our stay - room nice, staff pleasant, spa extremely good, restaurant very good standard. I have dropped two stars from my rating for two reasons - We requested an ice bucket as we had bought a bottle of vintage champagne to toast our 70...

A disappointing stay overall. The good points, nice breakfast and 2 good sized pools. Lots of parking, free wifi reasonably good. Less good. It's a SPA hotel but no robes in the rooms. Breakfast ends at 9.30AM!!!!!!!!! Mould around the bath is never a welcome site Two staff on reception when we came in at around 9.30PM. We walked within...

My husband and I stayed at the Ardencote for one night for our anniversary. We booked through secret escapes. The pictures of the hotel and spa on the website looked beautiful and we were really looking forward to our stay. However on check in we discovered we would not be staying in the manor house but an adjacent building. The...

Upon arriving 1 minute before our massage we were greeted by a very accommodating receptionist who could clearly tell we were flustered and calmed us down by offering us a slightly later treatment time so we could relax and unwind beforehand. This in itself already made our day start to feel more relaxed. We felt looked after. We were given...
