A very warm welcome and tour of the hotel. The room was large and very well fitted with little touches like a small carafe of drinkable sherry in the room. The bathroom was excellent. dinner was well presented and very well cooked. a good choice on the menu with something to please everybody. Breakfast was excellent with good choice

We stayed for 2 nights midweek having been attracted by the excellent Trip Advisor reviews, happy to say that we found them to be accurate! The owners Steve and Jackie made us very welcome, lovely 4poster room (#3) with modern shower ensuite. Food was excellent (breakfasts and evening meals). Steve obviously loves cooking!! We picked Burpham Country House after reading a review in the national press, consulting its website/other guides and reading reviews on Tripadvisor. The hotel lived up to our expectations. We were impressed by the easy going laid-backness of the staff and proprietors which was under pinned by professionalism and a genuine desire to make our stay a happy one. We...

I can totally recommend Burpham Country House , A warm welcome , crisp white sheets and big fluffy towels and a good hot shower. All situated in a very quiet pretty village close to A27. Breakfast was great and we will go back in future.

We stayed here over the new year. It was the relaxing escape we had hoped for. The owners are very good hosts and their relaxed attitude makes for a very easy stay. Our room was very comfortable and the rest of the house is lovely. Particularly liked the hens!

Steve and Jackie are attentive and friendly hosts and we instantly felt at home. Our room (5) was very tasteful and comfortable with pretty views of the garden (fun seeing the 4 chickens roaming about too!). It is lovely to...

This B&B is lovely, has nice amenities, terrific service, and food that is out of this world. Steve is a true foodie and it shows in his cooking. Jackie makes sure you feel comfortable and welcome and well-informed about the many things to do in the area. If you don't stay here, you're really missing out.
