Bank holiday in the Gower, staying at Oxwich. We arrived at the King Arthur on spec. following a recommendation by a local. The hotel was extremely busy but staff made us feel welcome and found us a table in the bar. Great food (we had the Chef's curry) friendly service and a great atmosphere.

Went there after spending a whole day at Rhossili. Was recommended by a Welsh lady working for the national trust at Rhossili. Very nice food. Ordered some Welsh dishes. Very good service despite very busy. Highly recommend

Stopped here for Sunday lunch before driving home from a lovely weekend on the Gower. I'd booked a table in the restaurant but there weren't many people in there and it looked and felt a bit sterile. We managed to find a table in the bar instead which had much more atmosphere. Luckily a bigger table became available just as...

We stayed at the King Arthur with our two children to visit family who live nearby. The cottage was lovely - clean and comfortable with everything you need for a self-catering break. We love the pub itself - good beer and food and always busy. The best thing is the location with beautiful Gower on the doorstep!

I am glad we took a little detour on our travelers as we have discovered this amazing pub on the way back to Birmingham. Stunning scenery, amazing food (wine was not to bad either haha), very polite staff. Just perfect! :-)

Stayed for a long weekend in a really nice flat (Upper Sanctuary) in a block of 4 attached to the KA Hotel. Recently built or renovated to a very good standard: comfortable bed (two bedrooms - but we only used one), nice lounge/dining area, good kitchen, good bathroom, secluded balcony deck and almost unbelievably it was dog friendly but no...

Went here recently for lunch as we were passing through the village, I'm glad we did! It's a beautiful setting with interesting artefacts all around the bar area. The open fire also added character and ambience. The food choices were wide ranging and our meals were delicious! I'd recommend the lamb burger, I just wish we'd arrived 20 minutes earlier...

I have eaten here many times and it is a lovely cozy pub with nice staff. Tonight I had the rump of lamb which was ok. I didn't like the salsa verde served with it , it had a tangy flavour I didn't recognise. The gravy was very thin and a bit tasteless. I have had much better meals in...

We were recommended this hotel for an evening meal, The moment we walked in it felt right, the staff were polite, helpful and made us feel welcome, Food was excellent, local produce from land and sea. Good selection of local ales too. Enjoyed our meal so much that we ate there again on a second night. The next time we...

Entered hotel to find the log burners and open fire in bar both lit, lovely. Staff friendly and welcoming. The building is Georgian with many original features, beautiful. As always, today's lunch was exceptional. The chicken in a rich red wine and mushroom sauce was incredible (black beans ?) The steak pie delicious. Full marks to the chef and all...
