How would we review Swallow Cottage? We have been spoilt I guess by other cottages in the same area BUT I would say that this Cottage is perfectly adequate for a small couple. Even a bit more cramped for two slightly larger couples I say this because it has a weird mezzanine level which doesn't accommodate anyone. It has NO... More

We booked this for the school holiday week as a base to explore Glencoe and the surrounding area... What a find!! Nestled in the hills in Onich are three delightful self catering houses. We stayed in Birch. From the large window in the lounge were views of Loch Linnihe and the imposing majestic mountains. The vista changed on a regular... More

Wanted somewhere for family of four at end of July and location seemed ideal which is why we booked but weren't sure what to expect from some of the reviews. Views from the lounge and veranda are amazing and hard to imagine anything better. Bungalow had all the facilities that we needed for a week. Fort William (supermarket and takeaways)... More

Just returned from another lovely, relaxing week at beautiful Cuilcheanna. Visited with friends and had the use of Rowan Cottage and one of the Westmoreland caravans. Both sets of accomodation were clean, comfortable (no signs of damp re. Traveller Carnoustie's post) and well-equipped. Rowan Cottage has what must be an unsurpassed 180 degree view from Glencoe to Loch Linnhe. It... More

We stayed here as a family in July. The smell of damp was overpowering. All the cupboards had a damp odour all our clothes had to be washed on our return home whether they had been worn or not. Did complain to the owner and he was apologetic and offered us a caravan to sleep in but we were not... More

We were very late checking in, well past the stipulated time. We called in advance, but still, it was late. Kirsten was very understanding and was there to welcome our family of five when we trooped in at nearly 10pm. She showed us to our rooms and asked if we needed milk for tea or coffee before bed. She then... More

Beautiful location, everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, well kept and our room was lovely with ensuite and all facilties you could need. The breakfast was substantial and freshly made with a good selection of food on a planned menu. No evening meals but there is a selection of eating places, including those that will deliver, within a short... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, and the hosting was excellent, the location fantastic, and the room was superbly appointed, with attention to detail throughout. Our room had views of the Loch, the mountains and the garden. Breakfast was fantastic, and we were given great assistance with restaurant recommendations and bookings. Worth paying the higher rates.
