We stayed here as a last minuet due to an issue with the car that has cut short our tour. The hotel is situated within its own gorgeously kept grounds and is just a stunning building. Because we booked very late we got the small room in the very back of the hotel so it had its share of issues...

We went for dinner with a couple of friends from abroad, New owners seem to have selected a new chef cook. We had a very good meal in this hotel. Staff serving our meal did this in a kind and professional manner. Had a very good evening.

Wonderful first night on our tour of the North Coast 500 road trip. We elected to stay outside Inverness for our first night and very glad we did. Relaxed welcoming country house hotel. Spacious light bright south facing room with great views. Comfortable with all amenities. Happy staff with excellent food. Elegant dining, impeccable service and really very good food....

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Kincraig in early May. The staff were great, the food the best we had in Scotland and the room/suite was extremely comfortable. We went fly fishing for the first time nearby at Stoneyfield Lochs which was very enjoyable. Visited the Highland Shooting centre for clay pigeon shooting- Marcus there was great!. Also...

The lovely "caretakers" (owners) empower their team to make each stay and guest special. The owners and staff truly made our stay special, they offered many suggestions for the area and went above and...

We had a family Sunday lunch here today and we were very impressed with the quality of the food, full of flavour and beautifully presented by someone who obviously takes pride in what they are doing. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and were looked after well throughout our visit. Well done one and all,...

We popped in unexpectedly and were wonderfully surprised by the beautiful cakes presented and superb tea! The staff were very attentive and the surroundings very Scottish in decor with beautiful views over to the Black Isle. Highly recommended experience.

Really 3.5 Stars but 4 seems fair. I had read earlier reviews and decided this would be a good place to stay, only to find that a number of the negatives I'd read about we're still a problem On checking in I was told that we had a twin room reserved for us, I never order a twin, only a...

We spent a couple of nights recently at Kincraig which sits on the NC500 although this occasion was simply a short relaxing break. A typical Scottish baronial country pile sitting in its own parkland. The staff were all very welcoming. Our room was large and comfortable with a view over the gardens to the Cromarty Firth. We ate in the...

Kincraig Castle Hotel is a stunning, family owned, award winning 4 AA star hotel situated in its own landscaped gardens with breath-taking views towards the Cromarty Firth and the Black Isle beyond. From your first sight of the Castle, as you drive up the long tree-lined drive, you know you are somewhere special. The grand white-harled building was the ancestral seat of the Clan Mackenzie and the history and elegance of the period is reflected in the displays of crow step gables, ornamental turrets and stone mullions. You will receive a warm welcome at Kincraig Castle Hotel and made to feel at home by the owners and their team. ... more   less
