Before I start....the staff were very kind. The sheets and towels were clean. I have to wonder if the pricing is right... Needs a BIT of updating. One friends room was conveniently designed allowing her to pee and sleep at the same time. It did the job but I was up and out at 730 am... So bad it's brilliant....

The Grant Arms is friendly, no-nonsense, straight-down-the-line and entirely fit for purpose. We were made very welcome, our room was clean, quiet and comfortable - and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Charlotte - you're a terrific host!

This was fair value for the price range charged via Booking.com. Charlotte the owner was super efficient when I had a query. Checked in late and got a good nights kip and breakfast - did the job. Friendly staff.

This is a very bad hotel, the location is great but as soon as you enter things go down hill. There was no one at reception, off to collect their kids, the barman left the bar to help us. He could not check us in, there was no one to check us out, so they didn't even know we were...

Stayed here for one night for a function in the area. Was greeted by friendly and helpful reception staff. We stayed in a double en-suite. It was a basic room, a little cramped, but warm, clean and comfortable. There were a couple of issues that a bit of maintenance would sort out ie the blind didn't work in the bedroom...

had a pint outside in the wonderful weather and watched the world go by--nice but inside could do with a face lift---toilets a bit rough in the bar--prices o.k.---nice small town but not a lot to do--the local baker does nice pies.

On arriving at the Grant Arms Hotel, it was very clear that a function was taking place! The young person checking us in seemed very busy and preoccupied and despite discussing the option of an early breakfast on the phone, this just seemed too much effort to bring up again! We were given our room key and made our way...

This hotel has an historic place in the town's story but seems to have past its best just now. It is well appointed but somehow doesn't live up to expectations. The family running the place are doing their best - the cooked breakfast was first class - but the accomodation was over-priced at £80.

Needed a hotel in centre of Ramsbottom and the location was certainly excellent with everything within walking distance. Hotel is old building with pub. Unfortunately the day we arrived there was a beer festival going on and the pub and reception area were packed! To make matters worse there was a Choc Fair going on outside. After booking in we...
