This was an excellent day the hotle was welcoming and the staff could not do enough for us. The meal was excellent with four choices for each of the courses. Our group went for Turkey, Beef and Salmon all of which were well cooked with the biggest Yorkshire Puddings we have ever seen with the roast beef. The wine was...

We booked our wedding at Bagden Hall around 6/7 months ago. When we first viewed the hotel, we knew straight away it was the perfect venue. The staff came across as extremely friendly, the grounds looked fantastic and the rooms inside looked tremendous; it was a bit of a no brainier. We were also extremely surprised at how competitive the...

We stayed at Bagden for our daughter's wedding and cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. They helped plan and organise the wedding brilliantly and on the day got everything "spot on" to give everyone involved a truly magical day. A special mention to Lewis, our Master of...

Once again we booked the green lounge for a family get together. Once again we thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't fault it in any way, and when there are young children a private room is ideal because there is room for the kids to play without being a nuisance to other people. Today we had the added pleasure of donkey rides...

We went to Bagden Hall for Afternoon Tea with another couple. Although the choice of sandwiches was good and the cakes were fair, we have had better for the same price. We paid £17.50 each and we each had 4 slices of bread (made into sandwiches), one scone, one mousse/cheesecake filling in a small shot glass and three other very...

Attended for a close friend's wedding. We stayed two nights. On the Friday evening, we checked in and were told that our room was not connected to the main hotel. A couple of minute's walk in -4 degrees with three young children was a slight inconvenience. When going back to the main hotel for dinner, we were told that children...

Attended a Christmas party beginning of December with 30+ colleagues. The party was the 'Christmas Cracker' buffet. Not particularly fond of buffets but willing to participate to be with colleagues. Should have looked at the menu before I committed my attendance but presumed it was a 'normal' buffet. When it was presented I thought it seemed a bit of a...

We went here for afternoon tea back in June and it was lovely. It was about £20 each which I think is the going rate for these type of things at the moment. There were lots of sandwiches, cake and Tea. We had a look around the grounds also which was very nice. Good Service. Recommended.
