Had a 1 night stay here on a virgin experience voucher. At the last minute I noticed they were dog friendly. Very accommodating to change our room. Cannot fault this hotel at all. Staff all brilliant especially the lovely receptionist. Cas did not like the waiters (sorry boys he growled at) but everyone was ace. Food was fantastic and the...

Our second stay at Bagden Hall Hotel. Beautiful country setting with lovely walks and gardens on the premises. Service is excellent and the breakfast (included) is first class! Great location if you are visiting the Hepworth Wakefield Museum, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Mining Museum. We will be back!

We were having to do a long trip around Yorkshire and Lancashire and needed a hotel that would accommodate our two dogs as well. Bagden Hall not only accommodated, them it made them extremely welcome. The hotel was having a busy weekend with a wedding party and yet when we arrived late on Saturday evening we were given a warm...

Last min booking but what a treat. Night before was in hotel on a main road and wow what a treat this was with just the sound of ducks on the pond. Rooms away from main house all very nice. Greta views over gardens and pond. Best nights sleep I have had on the road for a very long time....

Decided to combine a birthday present of an afternoon tea at this location with a couple of nights staying over. What a great choice. Located in it's own grounds on top of a hill with wonderful views near the village of Denby Dale. We were allocated a very comfortable room on the second floor which had a great view over...

My wife and I stayed for two nights on 14/3/2017 on the "Best Available Bed&Breakfast" Deal at £70pn. This place was recommended by a relative. All I can say is it is a wonderful hotel on all levels; location, restaurant, service, friendly staff, access including wheelchair/disability, views, rooms and facilities, plenty of parking and competitive prices. We stayed in the...

Two night stay. Regular room in the side building. Some meters to walk to get to the restaurant, but rooms are also available in the main building. Price is a bit high so I expected some great food in return. Both the meal and the breakfast left me something to wish for: Tje meal, duck breast, was nicely arranged, but...

How disappointing that your experience is so different from the other reviewers . I am pleased you enjoyed the duck main course but must confess I don't understand your subsequent ' everything did taste the same' comment . We do not offer hash browns with breakfast so your description of ' a piece of bread soaked in grease' is 100...
