The White Horse is well situated for lovely seafront walks and only a short bus ride from Brighton. The staff can't do enough for you, they are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for any of them. I enjoyed breakfast both mornings, had a bar meal the first evening and dined in the restaurant the second evening after... More

We are very sorry for any misunderstanding over the breakfast service times, we understand that you were served by a new member of the team who has now undergone a period of re-training. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, we hope that it will not deter you from visiting us again in the future. More

We have used Old English Inns before and so we decided this time to head south. The hotel was very nice and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, frinedly and polite. Food was very good (one night service was a little slow but there was only one waitress on until mid evening), especially the breakfast. The location is superb,... More

Again another day out ruined by a £60 fine even though I paid and displayed, ate at the restaurant and handed in my money off coupon park of the ticket for £2 off food, to only get a fine for overstaying by a few minutes. Management don't care that the company they have put in place to run the car... More

Good quality wine in the bar, also good beers Tips - worth paying extra for a seaview as the view is fantastic of the beach and sea. Better value to stay here and commute to Brighton (3 miles) than paying a... More

We were told by the waitress that there was a delay in the food coming out and we were fine with that. The food was delicious. The fish and chips was simply the best I've ever had. Couldn't eat all of it. The sausage and mash was a bit stingy on the portion but I gave my husband some of... More

We were happy to find somewhere serving food in Rottingdean between 3 and 5. We had a lovely meal - can recommend the fish and chips. Nice portion size. Nice waiting staff. Cosy pub. With great views of the sea.
