This hotel is part of the Greene King Old English Inns chain. We selected this hotel in an attempt to avoid the generally expensive accommodation and parking charges in Brighton. We found it to be well located with bus stops and frequent services, virtually outside the front door. We had selected a room with a sea view, which was on...

Us four 60 something ladies have just had the most wonderful weekend celebrating a B/day. We found the whole experience fantastic. The rooms were spacious & comfortable, beds linin & duvets clean & fresh, water lovely & hot @ all times, & the staff were simply lovely. We did wait a little while for out food sometimes, but it didn't...

Stayed here last week with work. Reasonable place. When I arrived I was worried it may be a little noisy, however once I entered I realised it was a nice hotel which was neat and tidy with a decent pub attached. The reception area is nicely decorated and it's a nice plus that the parking isn't charged if you are...

We were meeting up with friends in Brighton and decided to stay just out side Brigjton away feom the hustle and bustle. Even though this hotel is in need of some love and restoration it did the job. The bus stop to Brighton is right outside. Our £5 day saver tickets were a great investment. We had a downstairs room...

Despite enjoying a nice location this hotel failed to impress. Our room (11) was not clean and had a large damp mark on the wall. We only stayed two nights but on the second day there our room was not cleaned nor was the used towel replaced. In the end I had to approach the desk to receive tea bags...

Great location, quick efficient service, decent beer, clean ,meal ordered updated fish and chips ,didn't have all advertised parts but generously made up with extra available parts, scampi and prawns overdone, fish ok ,chips hard, privately run parking a nightmare, onsite machines broken ,online payment cumbersome, impossible to older folks, not a great experience,

Came for lunch. Service was very slow and staff were unattentive. We had to keep getting up to find staff to serve us. Looking around we noticed alot of other tables waiting for service also. The batter coating was bland and tasted like it was fried in old oil. A Shame as its in a nice location with great views.

First impressions, looks tired and carpark very small, as the town use it as a pay and display. Guests park for free. We werent expecting marble and chandeliers, as the price was good. It was comfy, we had a sea view, and there were plenty of places to eat in the town. The sound of the waves outside was lovely.
