Booked the hotel in December 2015 for a wedding in April 2016. Due to the late 4pm check-in, we specifically requested an early check-in as the wedding ceremony began at 1.45pm. We arrived at 12pm only to be told that our room was not ready and to check back at 1pm and that a request would be placed to housekeeping...

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to express your views upon your recent stay with us. It is very disheartening to hear that even though the wedding you attended was very much enjoyed that other parts of your stay did not meet your expectations. The standards of service by every team member within the hotel should be going...

Rooms and overall feel of hotel is that it is tired and in need of an upgrade. That said, the sitting room area for drinks was very nice. Grounds are lovely for walking in. Generous parking. But it was the Spa area at Tortworth that was very disappointing. Very small given the size of the hotel. And dirty. In the...

It is a lovely place in a wonderful setting in the Cotswolds with some very pretty villages all around. The food in the dining room was excellent and good value for money. We were, however, annoyed by some niggling details: 1.Our main gripe is that we were charged £10.50 each for a medium glass of Malbec in the bar. At...

My review is only about the Sunday carvery as we did not use the accomodation as we live locally. For my wife's birthday our son who lives in the USA decided to treat us to lunch at the Court. We arrived just before 1.00 so were able to chose one of the best tables in the resturant in the bay...

I recently visited the hotel as part of a group booking of maybe 100 guests. Our booking included dinner bed & breakfast and was very reasonably priced. The main building is stunning and the function rooms are beautiful. Check-in went smoothly- friendly and efficient and we were given key cards to Room 289, given a small map and instructions as...

We spent a day at this hotel on a special deal. The room was large and clean and the bed very comfortable. For a large hotel it was very welcoming. We had afternoon tea in the bar and it was good. Dinner in the charming restaurant was very tasty. We did not avail ourselves of the spa and its treatments...

Stayed for one night, room was excellent, dined out but had breakfast in which was also very good - large and comprehensive self-service buffet with all the usual trimmings but all freshly prepared. Staff and service also very good.

Great location and quiet. The gardens are inviting and a must visit. Internet access could be improved around the hotel, although it was better than the last time I stayed. Food is excellent. Large comfortable rooms. Hotel staff are helpful.

The hotel is truly stunning and the grounds are beautiful.
