We stayed here at the start of February for one of my girlfriends friends' 40th birthday which took place at a local venue. We had an upstairs room in the main pub building, dinner in the bar area and breakfast the next morning. Couldn't fault anything, it really was a lovely place to stay. Easy to access carpark with plenty...

Stayed here to walk part of the North Downs Way. Entered a welcoming and friendly bar, had a comfortable room which was clean, fresh and contemporary . Ate in the pub - the food was excellent, freshly cooked much better than standard pub fare, attractively presented and with quietly attentive service. Breakfast was also excellent, good choices, freshly cooked, great...

Stayed overnight. Room was perfect - clean and comfortable. Mulled wine in the evening had a 'hit'. Breakfast certainly set us up for the day.

My mother and I came to stay for a coupe of days and we loved it. The staff are lovely, the rooms are really good for the price and so nicely decorated. The food was seriously good too! Nice comfy bed, very warm and spacious. And the staff went out of their way to help me plan a surprise for...

The meal was extremly good food served efficiently and food hot and on warm plates. We did have to pre order to make the booking more convenient. Thought price of non alcohol drink of lime and soda very expensive at £3.40 for two. Rather drink water at that price. Bar man very off hand not very friendly.

We really wanted to give the Flying Horse a perfect review. Room clean, tidy and well appointed. Great breakfast and good service. We did not eat here in the evening but the food and menu looked great as did the ale on offer. If you're wondering how it fell short of the perfect review it was an issue that so often...

I wanted the simplicity of a room in Wye as working in the town to save driving a long distance. Stayed in many B and B's over years and this rates highly for me as no noise from the pub, you can park up next to room, I like a beer and bottled was good and strong, SN not well...

After a 4 hour drive on a big hangover, arriving at the New Flying Horse was a comforting relief.Check in was quick and professional and the fish and chips and real ale was exactly what we needed. The room was delightful, simple, chic and everything you need. But the best thing about the place were the staff-friendly, smiling, professional and...

We booked the family room in the New Flying Horse in and it was just what we needed for our family with 3 small kids, crossing over for a few days from Dunkirk. Wye is a neat little town with an interesting "Tree Walk", but we used the place mainly as a launching pad for excursions to Canterbury, Whitstable and...
