Lovely friendly staff- warm open fire and lovely food- worth a stop off on your way to the East Coast. Starters were homemade pate with the extras and mushrooms and garlic- with a crunchy topping. Mmmmmmmm

Friendly helpful staff provide great food . Early breakfast if you need early start. Real log fires Nothing 'phoney' about this place! Like pubs always used to be !!! ( But aren't anymore in Midlands as all owned by chains)
