Went for friends birthday, spent time in Leisure facilities that where clean and in good working order. Changing rooms needed a little refresh and didn't give best first impression, but all other facilities where lovely. Had hot stone massages as treatment, spa staff where extremely polite and professional and treatments where very relaxing, liked the fact that they took time...

My friend bought me this for a present. Such a lovely treat. We were seated in the dining room at the window. The menu was read out to us and we both chose breakfast tea. We asked if we could changed one of the sandwich options and this was no problem. Afternoon tea was selection of salmon, ham and cheese...

Our room was a classic room in the newer part of the hotel. It was clean and well decorated and had everything we needed. The breakfast menu was extensive,...

Hotel is fabulous and the grounds are stunning, food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel is a great base to explore Northumberland returning to the luxury of Maftens spa or a quiet read by the log fire in the drawing room.We will be returning soon.

We arrived on Saturday 4th Feb for a weekend stay to celebrate a friends 60th Birthday. A planned round of golf for 16 of the guests attending the weekend beckoned so off I went. We were blessed with glorious blue sky's and although a bit chilly the round was spectacular in its glorious surroundings, some of the golf played was...
