We have just returned from a four night stay. This is a very friendly pub, staff and customers very welcoming. Included Full English breakfast was excellent every morning. Nothing was two much trouble. There are only five rooms, ours was a nice size, not huge but you shouldn't expect that in an old pub, en suite was small but usable,may...

Beautiful old beamed pub come restaurant. Local food, menu of the day on chalk boards and very interesting and varied. Prices very reasonable, they have a large car park across the road and a beer garden, with plenty of seating in the shade or sun, when out. Great variety of beers and wines, we'll work a visit in this quaint...

A typical country pub well patronised by locals serving good quality food at reasonable prices. The menu including any specials is displayed on a blackboard, one orders ones food at the bar. Food portions are generous and well presented.

We stayed here for the weekend great room even better food. The staff were helpful and friendly. A vibrant pub well frequented by both locals and visitors alike. The inn is only 10 minutes walk from Washford station on the west somerset steam railway and then 10mins on the train to Minehead. One of Somersets hidden gems well worth a...

We were looking for a village inn offering good accommodation with good pub food and all at sensible prices... we struck lucky here and will certainly return. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown our room, one of a choice of five, which provided ample space with all the usual amenities. We found the food to be good...

Staff very friendly, immediately striking up a topical conversation and showing interest in what we were doing. Lunch was fantastic. Steak and Ale pot pie was...

Visited the White Horse after finding it by accident! There were 10 of us including children. Its a beautiful little place , very rustic with lovely gardens. We sat inside for our meal which was very tasty and beautifully cooked. Our waitress was delightful and we really enjoyed ourselves. Only minor gripe is the lack of table menus and having...
