Just had a lovely Sunday lunch here at the white horse. Firstly I was impressed that it's dog friendly (I wish I'd bought my dog). I had beef which was cooked to perfection, lovely and tender...they provided steak knives which was a nice touch just incase. The vegetables came in a separate bowl, and was plenty there to share, others...

Had Sunday roast here last weekend, very nice and our roast dinner, complete with pudding was only £10 - bargain - nice selection of vegetables as well. Will definitely visit again. Good sized car park and appeared to be dog friendly, as there was a bowl by the front door, however we left our 4 legged friend in the car!

Stayed here for a night and were really surprised by all aspects of the inn. From the moment we walked in through the door we were made to feel very welcome. The Landlord, staff and locals made us feel as if we were regulars. This is a 'proper' pub and plays an important part in village life. The Cotleigh Brewery provide two...

Good food reasonably priced - the three vegetarians in our party all had different choices which were well very good and not the usual vegetarian token choice. Three decent real...

Booked on a hotel site for a short break. It looked lovely on the site but all the advertising was very understated. However, what a lovely place. The room was a large double, very comfortable and great standard. All the usual, with a newly done-up bathroom, telly, tea and coffee etc. What really made it was the quality of the...

Just returned home after a lovely weekend in North Somerset enhanced by our stay in this charming country pub. We had a very comfy room, excellent service from the friendly staff and country food as good as you get anywhere, well cooked, good portion size and nicely presented. This is reflected by the obvious support given by the local regulars...

I had steak and ale pie served with mash, my partner had gammon egg and chips, hearty portions and tasty home cooked food. . . Reasonable prices, two mains, two desserts with three drinks, £43. . Have lived in the area for a number of years but never been to the White Horse and now I ask myself why! We went for Sunday lunch and it was very good. The accompaniments were especially good to the meat(which was plentiful but think it was pre sliced and kept warm which meant it lost some flavour) and overall...
