I stayed at the Belmont for two weeks through work. The website made the hotel look very nice. The reception and dining area were very nice, however the rooms were either boiling hot or freezing cold and the radiators had no regulators on them (for when the heating was on full). I ate once in the 'Tapas' restaurant connected to...

OK for one night. very friendly staff and owners, nothing too much trouble. The food was suprisingly good. great selection well cooked and well presented. The room was in need of updating and felt a bit grim, this let down the overall experience. Would go again for a one night business stay.

Recently called for a spot of lunch, as we live just around the corner. Tried the Tapas menu for the first time and it was to die for. Great service in a relaxed and charming environment. Will definately be returning again.

The hotel is in a perfect location to the town, and Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The rooms are great...they have everything that you should need. What makes this hotel special are the hosts...and they make a killer breakfast! Should I need to stay in Doncaster again overnight, I shall be returning here!

My husband is disabled and in a wheelchair, and the recently refurbished room was a bit of a squeeze, but manageable. The room was clean and comfortable, the public areas the same. Food was lovely, evening meal was delicious, reasonably...

Spent two days, over a weekend in this hotel. The staff and owner were top class, very helpful and amiable. Nothing was too much much trouble for them. A mention here for the chef's also because their food was superb. Enjoyed a Sirloin on the Saturday evening that would put a lot of top hotels to shame. The reception, bar,...

Stayed here for 1 night on route home from our holiday. Rooms basic but clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellant. Enjoyed a drink and sandwiches in the bar area the night before. Hotel is convenient for doncaster and the racecourse. Don't know how they manage to provide such good service for a low cost!
