We popped in for lunch whilst stating at nearby hotel. The food was great value and very tasty and we will be back. The bar had a nice feel and very welcoming. We had fishfinger sandwich with chips which was more than enough for the two of us to share.

Stayed at this hotel for a week day business trip and required room only. The single room was very clean and tidy and the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Slept well and would definitely use again.

It's been awhile since I last popped into SB and I heard just the other night of a new makeover and decent food. The bar area has been done up tastefully and there was both a lunchtime and main menu to peruse. The staff were attentive but non intrusive and the menu/food was very good! The BBQ platter in particular...

My stay at The Strawberry Bank was unplanned, I had travelled from Essex at short notice after my Father passed away, and needed somewhere to use as a Base while helping with arrangements. I found the hotel on one of the booking sites at £30 per night, it was a little way outside Coventry but easily accessible, and only a...

A pleasant independent hotel. Relatively basic rooms which could be a bit quieter but have everything you need. A warm and welcoming bar with a decent menu, as well as a restaurant I didn't use. Only very slight draw back is that Vodafone coverage is hopeless, the hotel offers free wifi but calls were mixed!

I visited the restaurant as part of a family meal. Not being from the area I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never heard of the restaurant before. On first glance it looked very nice and traditional. Again when you went inside the restaurant appeared very nice, although I think they could do with some new chairs. They...

Stayed here a couple of nights whilst visiting family in the area. The staff were friendly and efficient and the rooms were adequate. The only negative feedback would be the room had just a shower and there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes or towels for ease of access when leaving the shower. Similar to Travelodge but...
