Pros - Room was very clean; breakfast plentiful - we were asked the night before to choose whatever cooked items we wanted, additional options or usual cereal, yogurts etc; there was a welcoming booklet all about Trimnells House and what they offered; they could have supplied anything extra we might have needed; nice stay Cons - Neither the car park... We really enjoyed staying here. The owners, Sue and Mark, were lovely and the breakfast was amazing - gluten free sausages too! It's a great base for visiting Bath and the village of Colerne has two great pubs and lots of walks and other attractions close by. There is a beautiful garden too.

My wife and I stayed at Trimnells house last night 13/10/2016 as we had a track day at Castle Combe. I must say, the hotel was warm cosy and extremely clean and the welcome was well, welcoming. The room was very nice indeed, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was spotless. The owner got up and served us... More

I stayed with a group of eight as we were attending a wedding close by. Sue was extremely helpful and accommodating and we truly felt like we had our own pad in which we were very comfortable. Lots of space, large rooms and decent showers and also very easy to find. Highly recommended if you are looking for such accommodation... More

We were greeted by friendly staff and from the moment we arrived we felt at home. The room was very comfortable and we loved the beautiful surroundings of the house. We were given good tips for things to do in the area. Overall a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

Lovely place in quiet beautiful setting. Owners very helpful recommended a nice little pub to go to when we arrived in the evening, short walk through quiet village. Normally breakfast starts later but as my partner had and interview early morning they made sure our breakfast was ready earlier. Dining room and bedroom was spotlessly clean modern inside an old... We rented the house as a whole place and stayed here for my hen do. The house is stunning and in a very quiet setting. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfy, there was lots of room for us all to enjoy ourselves and space out throughout the day/evenings. Showers weren't very good however, not very powerful.

The Property is located in a very nice, quiet road and has a lovely garden with ample parking alongside; we had no issues finding the place. The owner was quite lovely, gave us a lot of information on things we could do as we reached there by around 4, so there wasn't much point going to Bath. We stayed in... More

Me and my girlfriend spent two nights at Trimnells House. We arrived late (check-in until 9) Luckily the owner lives in a flat covering the top floor and was fine with us being late which was great. At first driving up to the property which is strangely positioned within a cul de sac you realise how lovely the property is,... More
