Booked this as a night away for myself and husband staying in one of the Fell Suites on the top floor. The hotel had had issues with the boiler and a broken freezer - this meant our room was very cold and there was no ice cream for dessert! However, the staff were exceptional, friendliest anywhere, and provided a couple...

We stayed there overnight on a discounted package. We were warmly greeted and taken up to our spacious room on the first floor. It was decorated and fitted out to a very hight standard. We loved the little touches (shortbread, fudge and Temple Spa toiletries. As part of the deal we had the tasting menu which could not be faulted....

We received a gift at Christmas for a night in the hotel with a 5 course taster menu. We arrived very early, mid day for a 3 o'clock check in and found the room was ready for us. Room No.2, this was a spacious, well decorated room, very comfortable with a good amount of tea and coffee making facilities. The...

We booked a table here for lunch, having read that we could take our Dog. We were told we could have a table in the bar area, but upon arrival it became clear that tables in the bar area are low coffee tables, hardly suitable for a knife and fork meal. After a bit of a fuss, they seated us...

We stayed between Christmas and New Year on one of their special DBB packages. We arrived to a warm welcome and were showed up to our beautiful hotel room. Little touches like homemade shortbread and the lovely Temple Spa toiletries were nice and very much appreciated. The staff were very hard working and looked after us well. The dinner menu...

Stayed with our dog Mack and we loved it. Had a three night stay and thought the food and the staff were all great. Chose the suite as it was our Christmas treat to ourselves. The only thing I thought strange was that the room with the sofa in it had no TV which would have been nice. But apart...

But for one small point, I would have been tempted to give this hotel a 'very good', or even an 'excellent'. The price was pretty good, and while my room was advertised as being 'small', it was actually quite spacious. In fact, it was like a bedroom / lounge, with a splendid en-suite that had both a bath and a...

We stayed one night in a Very comfortable room. The views at the front of the hotel are wonderful. The hotel has Helpful and friendly staff who were very overworked on our visit. Our room was quite warm but everything worked (except the TV). Bar was a bit expensive ( check the gin prices before you buy!). Breakfast was tasty....

We stayed for 1 night as it is close to Grassington for the Dickensian market. The location is beautiful with stunning views. The food in the restaurant wa good and plenty of choice for breakfast. The staff and service was also good. Our room was lovely and clean overlooking the front of the hotel. If I have one criticism is...

The staff and the hotel are fine and the food is very good, but the price is a little too expensive when compared with other similar priced hotels for what you get. A few little things take the edge off what you are charged. My wife and I were given an attic type room and although it was clean and...
