Went with friends for Easter Sunday evening meal. The friendly service and tasty food coupled with good company made for a lovely evening. Would definitely recommend a visit, and will be going back again soon.

We were pleased on arrival with the friendly welcome and for the money, the room seemed good. We had a few drinks in the bar before going to bed at 11pm. However from about 12pm our room neighbours started shouting and banging the doors and seemingly moving about furniture. They continued to make noise all night waking us up every...

My wife and I stopped for a weekend at short notice when we saw a great weather forecast. The room we were allocated was superb, really spacious with a view to the rear and very quiet. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Great location for visiting North York Moors.

Nice place in the centre of the village. Car park at the rear through an arch. Friendly welcome when checking in at the bar downstairs. Room was in a block across the courtyard, warm and clean, very comfortable bed. Yes the TV was on the small side but that was hardly a deal breaker. Very good deal at £50 per...

Very pleasant old pub. Great food with a decent selection of ales and lagers on tap. Friendly and helpful staff. Private car park to the rear. The rooms are ok, TV is a bit small but all digital channels available. The only issue in the room was the very poor water pressure for the shower. Kirkbymoorside is a very nice...

Very friendly staff and owner. The bar has a good atmosphere, several real ales and one that is from a local brewery. The food is very good with a wide choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good showers, free wifi and tv's that receive all the Freeview stations.

My Wife And Myself have spent most of spring, summer, and harvest either socialising or dining in "The George" as we prefer to call it. We have a sited caravan within 4 miles of Kirbymoorside, and popping into what we refer to as our local, we enjoy the atmosphere, the Hoegaarten beer, and the good, ample, portion food. The Nicholas...
