Very pleasant old pub. Great food with a decent selection of ales and lagers on tap. Friendly and helpful staff. Private car park to the rear. The rooms are ok, TV is a bit small but all digital channels available. The only issue in the room was the very poor water pressure for the shower. Kirkbymoorside is a very nice...

Very friendly staff and owner. The bar has a good atmosphere, several real ales and one that is from a local brewery. The food is very good with a wide choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good showers, free wifi and tv's that receive all the Freeview stations.

My Wife And Myself have spent most of spring, summer, and harvest either socialising or dining in "The George" as we prefer to call it. We have a sited caravan within 4 miles of Kirbymoorside, and popping into what we refer to as our local, we enjoy the atmosphere, the Hoegaarten beer, and the good, ample, portion food. The Nicholas...

Great service on arrival, the room itself was a little tight however was just fine for the night, the bathroom was very clean and of decent size. The overall stay was pleasant. Plenty parking spaces so no issue there.

Overall disappointed in the whole experience. I’ve used laterooms many times and booked through them for bed and breakfast at this hotel. On arrival the barman told us it was room only, which confused us as the booking clearly stated breakfast included. He said he would look into it. We had evening meal and I checked the query on the...

Actually quite gutted we booked to stay here. It was really because it is dog friendly and we wanted to explore the area. And had seen some good walks. We arrived Friday evening, so decided to book a table for later on that evening. A sandwich board outside advertised fish and fizz as a Friday night special. However after enquiring...

We have seen at this hotel before and as usual it was exellent. This is an coaching house but the rooms are warm, modern and comfortable. Great food and if you wanted something that was not on the menu it was no problem to them. It is a family run hotel and all the staff are friendly and helpful, even the...

on the plus side, the room was clean and comfortable, however, the owners seemed unable to cope with it being so busy and we were kept waiting to check in with no real apology. The hotel is listed as having wifi however it does not reach to all the buildings so not really much use and there seemed to be...

Stayed two nights in the suite. Mainly as we have two well behaved dogs and wanted a little more space. It was really spacious and perfect for our needs! Ate both nights and they really do get busy! We preferred the bar which was as full as the restaurant, yes it meant a slight delay, but we find that it's...

My partner and I & my elderly father and two poodles stayed here for four nights. It was in perfect location and near to many beautiful places to visit. The breakfasts were amazing and the evening meal choice was delicious slightly on the higher price range but worth it. The staff were very friendly nothing too much trouble. The rooms...
