After renovation the Restaurant and Hotel seems to be close to perfect! We ate here several times and enjoyed great food and wonderful staff! The prices are at a fair level and you get a lot for the money you pay! Go there and enjoy🏔

Very clean and comfortable this hotel is perfect for the stopover while skiing or walking in the Alps. The food is very good and service is personal and prompt and everyone smiles which is always welcome. Understated and straightforward this is exactly what is required on an active break.

Found entirely by accident because we put the wrong info into our GPS , not to mention that the sites we used to locate this hotel gave us entirely erroneous information about where it's located. However, once found, we stumbled into a paradise: views are incredible, hiking magnificent, very uncrowded (maybe because people use the same info erroneous sites we...

Very nice place to stay and / or eat and have a drink! Food, staff and the building are great and a wonderful starting point for several fantastic trips during summer or winter! We go back every year and have never been disappointed! Go there and enjoy the great village and surroundings!

We spent a perfect weekend in this nice hotel with great breakfast and dinner - and decided to go back there only three weeks later. While this should tell it all... there is for example the river in the valley, and the creek right next to the hotel, they are amazing and guarantee that you will never hear a car...

My wife and I were at the Silencehotel Edelweiss during early September 2014. Our room, #201, overlooked a stream and the quiet village We used the hotel as a base for day hikes in the surrounding mountains; start with a substantial breakfast buffet, return to delicious dinners, and end with a comfortable bed. Does not get much better. Special attention...

This was my third time staying at Hotel Edelweiss, and Lukas was as warm and welcoming as ever, and the cuisine was sublime - from locally produced lamb sausage and rösti to Raclette to the sumptuous breakfasts, everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel is quiet and the staff do a wonderful job of leaving you in peace...

Stayed here for a week in July. Lotschental valley is wonderful, a bit off the beaten track, stunning, great hiking, easy to get to some other valleys in the area. Hotel Edelweiss was great. Comfortable, very nice rooms with great views, best breakfast spread we had in our 2 + weeks in Switzerland. Lukas and his staff take great pride...

We were a group of eight friend who went to the Lotschenvalley for a hiking weekend. We never regretted our decision to stay at the hotel fEdelweiss for the two nights! The owner, Mr Kalbermatten went out of his way to assist us wherever possible! The evening meal and breakfast were delicious! The best, however, about the hotel is its...
