The ***Milano Duo Hotel is closed for complete redevelopment. The building is completely gutted. It is in a very good location near shops, bus lines and restaurants. No indication what kind of hotel it will be when it reopens. No work in progress, November 2015. See photos. The ****Hotel to the right is The Waterfront Hotel.

We visited Malta in mid-October and stayed at the Milano Due. It is a budget hotel. I cannot rate it more than 2 stars. It needs refurbishment badly. Breakfast was very limited; bacon was not served once during our stay. Salad was available for breakfast every day, very strange. Our room overlooked a large piece of derelict land. In an...

I expected much worst reading the reviews so I was quite happy to see that it was not so bad. The bathroom was very small, a stronger person wouldn't fit in that shower. Everything was with payment, even the TV remote control :-). The breakfast was not eatable, but we chosed not to pay for it in the price of...

This hotel I would not recommend to anyone. The room is small with heavy old furniture and carpets, dirty bathroom and A/C is working only on particular hours and it did not work almost entire our stay and it was unbreathable inside. Breakfast was also poor, but nothing unexpected. We did not choose this hotel and were were replaced to...

First time I have stayed at this hotel and I was very satisfied with the service. The room and bathroom was clean. The breakfast was ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel, late at night. It is very good located, you can catch a bus to all beaches and cities or historical sites just in front of the hotel. When we've arrived they gave us a "better" room with a sea view, and we've booked a room with a side view. It was just for one night....

“Choose a larger hotel with high floors,or go further back from sea front if you want peace and quiet.”

“Don't have a standard room with a window that overlooks the internal shaft if you can afford it. Sea view rooms have direct sunlight for most of the day so the balcony is very hot if it is summer, the rooms are also a little compact. Side sea view rooms balconies are more shaded as they over look the streets and they are more spacious.”
