Huge resort with almost no guests and sleeping reception stuff. After a five hours drive from Belum we just wanted to jump into the pool but only found a dirty, greenish something that already hosted many tadpoles. Handing us towels assuming we would enter this water - I felt really offended. This experience is topped when it comes to food....

1) Arriving: Me and my boyfriend arrived a bit before the official check in time. The man from the reception said the room would not be ready, we should wait two hours in the entrance hall. And then he left... No one there anymore! No offer what we could do! Just an empty entrance hall and two hours of waiting......

The location at Tasik Kenyir is amazing. The resort is located in the woods along the lake. From the bungalows you have an amazing view across the lake and the terasse is a great place to relax and read a book. However, these are the only good things about this resort. The room probably hasn't been renovated since it has...

Very Nice Place to stay but the food is horrible. It is a long drive from town, and I would suggest to bring supplies from town if you do not want to venture into town. It is peaceful and very beautiful. Excellent for a weekend retreat.

Let's start with the positive: what is good about this resort? 1. The setting. It is extremely beautiful, natural scenery. But I am glad we came now, because I see and I understand that the lake will soon be ruined by the monstrous developments that are going on. 2. The staff are all very nice and friendly, even though they...

Stunning lake and surroundings. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the walking activities. However there is nothing else around and the food is terrible. Every meal is terrible. They consistently run out of everything. No mineral water. No fruit juice. The only available drinks are local tea, local coffee, coke and Sprite. They burnt the pasta, they burnt my...

Lake Kenyir Resort is an old establishment. The chalet is fantastic (old but clean). Ours was overlooking the lake with sunrise view. Dinner was ok, but the resort can put more effort on the breakfast. We went running around the resort in the afternoon and in the morning after sun rise. Bumped into wild boars both time. It was a...

This must be a really nice resort hotel in its hey-days. Nicely designed with huts on undulating terrain and most rooms facing the lake. We had a room right by the water. The conditions have since deteriorated but the stay was still comfortable. The view of the serene lake was absolutely stunning. Commute to the hotel lobby and restaurant is...

Resort was nice, accommodating, peace of mind and soothing eyes. Only the resorts itself was old and need refurbish here and there, there is so many chalet yet too many that already broken, with tripadvisor award they has I don't think is relevant anymore. The only resort that available in lake kenyir, they should maintain the place, as the place...
