Lovely place to stay in Kastela, close to the beach, castle, shops and bars. The apparents are quite comfortable and what's important to me this place very very clean!!! Super friendly owners Definitely worth to recommend.

We stayed at Villa Soulavy for about 5 nights. The Kastela area is nice, because there is plenty of swimming places and restaurants, yet without a lot of tourists. The appartment was ok, but nothing special.

Our trip to Croatia was highlighted by this charming villa by the sea. This stately old stone house is over 300 years old and is situated half way between Trogir and Split in a charming village that welcomes you with open arms. We loved sitting in the beautiful garden in the mornings and evenings and were more than comfortable in...

The two-storied apartment was small for 3 persons. No balcony, which makes it even worse. Don't pay for the breakfast - cold coffee with toast and muesli is not worth of 6 euros. The village is OK, beach average. We'd rather choose Donji Seget wich is also near the Split airport.

We like to Kastela very much, so we decided to book a hotel. We saw the pictures which looked very lovely. Of course, you can not smell the pictures on the internet until you checked in. We had an odd check in. They did take credit card because the machine "broke" down. Fine. We were able to find enough Kuna...

The Villa Soulavy seems to still be a little known secret and we are really happy that we discovered it! We found it on booking.com but you will find more info on their own slightly quirky website: villasoulavy.hr We stayed here for a couple of nights late in May 2012 and it was an oasis of peace during our travels...

“The location for us was ideal as we enjoyed coming back to a quiet, and peaceful rest after busy days is Trogir, Split and Hvar. We spent one day in each - you can get to Hvar easily using the ferries in Split. As we had a car it was easy for us. If you are travelling by other means you may have to investigate further how to access the cities.”
